Rolling the bones again. (James rolls)And it's makeable -- a 3 and a 5... ...or an 8.

(Paige touches screen)And I see a C in your future. James, every roll beyond doubles is still good -- so you may guess the bottom clue or take the last roll of the round.

(dings; audience applause)That's it. Well, James, you have a chance to solve the overall puzzle. It's either that -- or roll again since all combinations except for doubles are still good. Wanna try and solve -- or take the last roll of the round?

Bypassing a guess and taking the last roll of the round. Antonio really wants you to roll doubles here. (James rolls)But it's a 2 and a 3... ...or a 5.

(Paige touches screen) Fifth letter in the middle row is an N. James, that was the last roll of the round. You may guess the middle clue if you'd like -- or you may bypass and we'll start another name game.

All right. As before, we leave the board as is. With one clue fully exposed... ...this next name game is a crucial one. (FF reveal sfx)And it's a big one -- ten-letter answer -- to this question. Who got on a roll -- with her insult comedy routines?(ding)
(Antonio and Jones, please PM dougmorrisontheair with your answer and a buzz code from 1-100.)

30 gameshowfan1986 56 jman8606 29 random.org (Antonio buzzes in) Antonio? Antonio: Lampanelli (dings; audience applause)Lisa Lampanelli is right. All right, Antonio, please step into the box. Your shot at uncovering letters. Every non-double still works -- so -- you -- are on a roll. (Antonio rolls)And you start this round of rolls with a 3 and a 5... ...or an 8. You don't have *much* of a choice -- but it is a choice nonetheless.

(Paige touches screen) Playing the sum gets you an 8. All rolls outside of doubles are *still* playable. So you may guess the top clue or roll again, Antonio.

Rolling the bones again. James wants you to roll doubles. (James rolls) But it's a 1 and a 5 -- or a 6. 'Fraid you have just one option. The higher of the numbers you rolled is the only one that's up there. So, Paige, please reveal the 5 at the top. (Paige touches screen) And with that T, players, we are now in play-or-pass mode. At least one roll outside of doubles cannot be made. Antonio, you may guess the top row's clue, roll the dice again -- or pass to James and hope to get a free letter out of the deal.

(audience applause) For the game and the match -- is it -- Alcatraz? (dings; audience applause) It is Alcatraz! Well done, Antonio. Just to tie up loose ends, what's the middle clue, please? I bet'cha it's "island". (FF reveal sfx) It is. Now, folks in the control room, please stay on this shot for an extra moment or two. Alcatraz was a federal penitentiary; now, it's a museum. The pen-turned-museum is located on an island about a mile and a quarter off the coast of San Francisco. Now, as Camera 3 stays on this shot, I can imagine someone at a bar just now seeing this -- with the TV volume on mute -- and he or she is asking, "What the heck is 'Penitentiary Island: San Francisco'?" (audience laughs and applauds) The new reality show where the winner gets a million dollars and the losers get life without parole. (more laughter) Yes, now's a good time to come back to us. James, you may have won just the one game. But with it -- your the big winner of Big Money Week with that luxrious car -- but just about $2000 cash. I've got an idea. James, stick around, please, and root Antonio on in Big 6 and Lucky 7. We'll then let you play the audience game -- which I know is worth up to $50,000 cash. (scattered cheers and whoos) I think you'll have fun with it. Antonio, you'd like to find out what top dollar's going to be in Big 6. Please take your money roll. (Antonio rolls)(cha-ching) (audience cheers) Six and two for an 8. The sum is multiplied by $10,000 since he won the match. Antonio's playing for $80,000 -- after this. (theme plays; audience cheers) (theme plays)

Welcome back to On A Roll's Big Money Week. There's another reason we want James to stick around because we have an announcement to make. During one of the name games in the rubber game of the match, there was a glitch in our buzz-in system -- and that put Antonio at a disadvantage -- meaning he missed out on a round of dice rolls in the process. It didn't affect the outcome of the match -- since Antonio overcame that hurdle that *we* unintentionally threw in his path. Now, Antonio, as we welcome Wally back to the show, we want to tell you we're experimenting with something on the Big 6 games after this Big Money Week. We figured we could experiment now and try to make up for our mistake earlier. We'll tell you about the experiment -- but first, let's give you a hint about this particular Big 6 word. (ding) It's a thing. Now for the experiment. Wally is about to offer you an additional hint about the word. Wally, please. (ding) "Commotion." Okay. Heck, I'll give you an additional hint. This thing related to "commotion" is not a tangible thing. If we gave you any more hints, we'd probably give this whole thing away. So, first roll's coming up for $80,000. If you need a second, value drops to $10,000 -- with the value cut in half for each additional roll you need. Korrina's just given you the dice -- and you -- are on a roll. (Antonio rolls)And it's a 4 and a 5. Would you like the fourth or fifth letter, Antonio?

Taking the 4. Wally, the fourth letter, please. (ding) You've got an H -- and more than one hint about this Big 6 word. One time only for $80,000, what is this Big 6 word? [NOTE FROM DOUG: Effective this post, no deadline pressure due to my forthcoming quasi-vacay.]

As well you should. You could win much more as we play Lucky 7. (FF reveal sfx) There it is. Letters in "lucky" hide the cruise and four different cash awards. The letter you pick determines what you play for. Which would you like?

Taking the K. Wally, please show us what's there. (dings; audience cheers) The trip. That's actually the South American cruise worth more than $58,000. And now.... (alarm goes off) ...we did you two favors in Big 6 due to our mistake earlier. We'll do you two favors here in Lucky 7. The first favor. On your first roll of doubles, we'll pretend that never happened; it won't count against you at all. But on your second roll of doubles, that will trigger the automatic shutdown in Lucky 7. Speaking of shutdown, the next favor. Wally is giving you one additional roll along with the maximum number of rolls you'd normally have to win this trip. So, Wally's giving you a total of... ...5 rolls to roll any lucky sum of 7 to win that cruise. Again, first roll of doubles, nothing happens and you're still on a roll. Next roll of doubles -- it's all over. Any questions?
