(audience cheers) Had a hunch you'd do that. (reveal sfx) Before you roll again, Sam, I don't think I've mentioned this. Should any further rolls total 4, 5 or 10 -- in other words, a combination that leads to a lucky number you've already taken -- we put an additional $2500 in the pot and you're still in business. So that -- please roll again. (Sam rolls) (chimes; audience applause)Snake eyes! Wow. Sam, this is your day. (drum beats; cha-ching) Another wild roll puts another *$5000* in the pot. I think I know the answer, Sam, but I must ask this. Want to make this wild roll a 6, 8 or 9?

(audience cheers) Numbah nine, numbah nine, numbah nine, numbah nine sends you to Altanta. (reveal sfx) All right -- the two easiest lucky numbers to roll are left on the board. Show me rolls of 6 and 8 -- and I'll show you the gas card and $120,000 in cash. (more cheers) Good luck -- and keep rolling. (Sam rolls) (audience groans) (danger zone cue; lights flicker in studio)Argh! Everything was going great until that happened. Okay, Sam, you're in the danger zone. Something serious to think about. At the moment, you have $66,049 in merchandise. You may stop here, keep the vacation and car you have as well as $1000 in cash for each half medal you currently have. That's a total of $70,049 in cash and merchandise I'm offering you to stop this main event. Should you decide to play on, you'll have to keep going and come up with rolls of 6 and 8 to collect the gas *and* the jackpot to join the car and trip. Should you play on, the next roll of 7 means you forfeit the prizes. (audience starts shouting suggestions) So -- what do you do? Stop here and take the car, the vacation and $4000 in cash -- or give back the cash, risk the prizes and try to win the 1000 gallons of gas and the $120,000 jackpot?

Stop, I've loved to give it a try but I fear I may hit a seven, so let's stop here.

He's going to stop and take $70,049 in cash and merchandise. (audience cheers)All right, we add all that to your prior winnings. We'll total up your loot in a bit. But -- Bill -- we are David Muir types of people who adhere to the belief your right to know overrides your right to exist. (scattered laughter from the crowd) If you went on, what would've happened? You had a 6 and an 8 to go. (obvious edit) (Sam rolls)(scattered groans) That would've given you the latter half of the bronze. By then, we'd give you up to five tries to roll a 6 naturally. What would've happened next. (obvious edit) (Sam rolls) (audience cheers)Disaster! That's what. Sam, ya bailed out at the right time. We'll add it all up for you and tell you where you go from here -- when Lucky Numbers returns. (audience applause; commercial cue)
[NOTE FROM DOUG: Before Sam's "what if" roll of an 8, there was a 6 and a 4 for a 10 -- which would've added $2500 to the pot. Before Sam's "what if" losing roll of 7, he rolled double 6 -- which would've added $5000 to the pot. The "what if" rolls that had no impact on any part of the bronze medal were "edited from the program".]

(audience cheers)I'm standing next to a very happy Sam Ryan. Today on Lucky Numbers, Sam, you won $12,300 in cash, *another new car* and a great vacation to Atlanta. Add all that to your previous winnings for a grand total, for just two days... (audience cheers)...of $161,854. Now -- I must ask. Have you ever had this kind of luck at a dice table before?

Never, if I had, I would've been an expert at Lucky Numbers.

Well if your luck continues on Lucky Numbers and you can win five straight matches, you play an all-cash version of the main event -- which could pay off more than $1,000,000. (audience cheers)Now, Sam, if you win the next match, you'll be back here at the main event, you'll have three new prizes and medals to roll for. And if you can win 'em all, you'll also win the cash jackpot currently worth $120,000 -- and could go higher as you play. The bronze medal, worth 1000 gallons of gas today, went unclaimed. So the gas *might* be back on a future show. The big jackpot will. Until next time, when Bill and another player will try their luck with the numbers, this is Doug Morris saying -- make it a great day, keep the faith and treasure your loved ones.
