If you know your Disney trivia, this game is for you. This is a board game that I have decided to make into a game show. Here's how it works. The object of the game is to collect different color Mickey heads from 5 different categories. The categories are as follows:
Animation (Yellow), Film (Purple), Song (Green), Personalities (Blue), and Mousellaneous (Red).
Each category is coded to a different color token that you see next to each category. On a player's turn, they select which category they want. I will then ask a question from that category. The players will PM me a buzzcode from 1-100. The player closest to the buzzcode number will get to answer. If a player gets a question correct, they will receive the corresponding color token. The first player to get all five tokens wins the game. There are three special events that appear at random intervals during the game. They are:
Challenge (Purple): This event may appear when a player picks the Film category. When this event takes place, the player who picks it is the only player who gets to answer. That player chooses an opponent to take a color token away from them. I will then ask a question from that specific category. If that player gets the question correct, they get to steal that person's color token. If they are wrong, the opposing player keeps the token. If a challenge shows up but nobody has any tokens, a regular Film question will be asked.
Peril (Blue): This event may appear when a player picks the Personalities category. If Peril shows up, a random token from the player who picked it will go into the Disney Vault. This player will then answer a question from the category of the token in peril. If they are right, they get the token back. If they are wrong, then the token will stay in the Disney Vault. If Peril appears but the player has no tokens, a regular Personalities question will be asked.
Rescue (Yellow): This event may appear if a player chooses Animation. When this event takes place, the player who picked it gets to redeem any color token from the Disney Vault by answering a corresponding question. If no tokens are in the Disney Vault, a regular Animation question is asked.
If a category is picked that you already have a color token for, you can still buzz in and answer. Instead of a token, you get $500. I know this seems like a lot of rules, but this will be fun. I will need two players. Who would like to give this a try?
