Hello all, hope you are all well. I still lurk and post occasionally on certain threads.
Although I am glad to no longer be doing games such as "Scrabble", "Three on a Match", "Gambit PM" and the like, don't be too surprised if I might, on occasion do a "Price is Right" episode here and there.
One thing I will be working on and doing in the Beta-Testing section of the thread will be either new pricing game ideas or testing out updated ideas for pricing games.
I have been experiencing a bit more fatigue than usual which is mildly discouraging, especially considering I take a multivitamin in the a.m. I was experiencing that to a small degree during the last few months of hosting as well, which contributed to me realizing I needed to bow out. Price is Right is something I can take my time preparing, no Q&A research required, just a lot of visuals to do, which isn't quite so bad. My ear-ringing (tinnitus) hasn't been too too bad of late, just mild. I try to take the pills sparingly as they are rather expensive to order, even online.
Career wise I am still working full time, praise the Lord. While the future of my job and the department I am in is somewhat iffy, I did nevertheless recently receive a 2.5% raise plus a modest bonus, this after being told by one of my supervisors that she was told no bonuses nor raises should be expected. Sometimes she has a knack for embellishing things a bit it seems.
My son switched pre-calculus teachers and she has been able and willing to stay after school for over an hour each day with him to review things so he can improve that grade. His other 3 courses this semester he's doing quite well in I'm glad to report. If all goes according to plan, he will be graduating on Monday, June 12th. Keep him and my family in your thoughts and prayers please.
I've not really seen much of my niece since she gave birth to her second daughter. My wife and I have babysat three times for them while my niece and her husband went out to socialize. Unfortunately whenever we make plans to visit with my niece, she ends up canceling last minute for one reason or another, so I have given up the hope of that happening, and have resigned myself to the fact that I will be part of the baby-sitting squad for her two young daughters, along with Mrs. McDee.
I hope all of you are well,
Best always,
Bill
