For some odd reason, I had a weird itch of doing a somewhat low budget version of Gambit, which I have already tested. If I have one version of Gambit going, the other will be on hiatus to where hopefully I will stay in compliance with the host limit rule. There are huge differences in the syndicated version:
Best 3 out of 5: third game awards $2,500.
The Any 21 Jackpot is progressive, but not like in the FOX version. It will start in Game One at $500 and go up another $500 until it is won which could max out to $2,500. The Blackjack for a Double Jackpot is still in effect. Getting 21 will award a starting and ending bonus in the Gambit Galaxy.
The Joker Board will still hold 18 numbers with difference from the FOX version. There will be suit cards of $250 and $500. There will be 7 of my red prizes worth up to $2,500 and 1 blue trip worth up to $5,000. The two Swap cards will still be in play. Earning a Joker will earn you more than one pick at the Joker Board like before with the usual exceptions. Winning the Any 21 Jackpot will not allow you a pick since you are only allowed one bonus per game, but any Jokers in the player's possession will earn another $500. Those who earn a Joker and not win will be awarded $100.
In place of the Gambit Board is the Gambit Galaxy. The Big Numbers format from High Rollers syndicated will be implemented, but with some ending twists. The Galaxy Jackpot will start at $25,000 and every number you knock out will be worth $1,000. Rolling doubles like in High Rollers will raise both amounts like before and earn an insurance marker. Along with the Jackpot will be eight prizes at stake: Four of my blue prizes worth up to $5,000, three gold prizes worth more $5,000 and one trip worth $5,000 or more will be at stake. Each time you roll a double, it will be used as a consolation pick if you end the game on a bad roll. Numbers you knock out will have prizes behind them including a brand new car which will make it bittersweet. Picking a knocked out number will be the only way to win a car if you don't win the Jackpot.
Getting 21 during the match will allow you one free pick and start off with an insurance marker. Getting 21 means you will also start off with more money to play with.
One 21: $50,000 ($2,000)
Two 21's: $75,000 ($3,000)
Three 21's: $100,000 ($4,000)
Whether I may add another $5,000 to the Galaxy Jackpot if not won is still up for debate (more than likely I won't do that).
Note: To allow fair gameplay, whoever is the current champion of Gambit on FOX is ineligible to play.
