Freeze!

|
Post by Bill Skinner on Mar 6, 2017 21:01:56 GMT -5
So we'll freeze at the 6... ...and continue with our fifth question. koopakid17, this question is right up your alley, since you are well-known for hosting a Seasons edition of a certain show. And here's what we asked 100 gameshow fans: "Which show do you feel is more challenging: Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy!?"How many of those people said your show, Wheel of Fortune, is the more challenging one? (and feel free to shoutout the fact that I'm now doing a Seasons edition of Family Feud!)

I have actually tried making my own Jeopardy! boards and it's a lot tougher, let me tell you. Therefore, you need to know the almanac if you want to be a Jeopardy! contestant. I have to say 20 think Wheel is more challenging.

You know, koopakid17, that's interesting to hear about your somewhat aborted Jeopardy! project, and so you say 20. ding!mringgenberg, is the actual number higher or lower than 20?

It'a s little higher.

And mringgenberg thinks it's higher. ding! The actual number of people who said that Wheel of Fortune is a more challenging game than Jeopardy! is... ding-ding-ding!...38, so it is higher, and mringgenberg will start from the 8. Would you like to play or change that 8?

Sure, let's change the rotten snowman. And what does that become?
(3 ♣)
A 3! What's your call on this, higher or lower?

Freeze

So we will freeze at the 10, and get into yet another question in this marathon second round. I thought mringgenberg was going to go all the way, but he froze, which means that he will also get to answer the sixth question of the round. mringgenberg, we asked 100 people: "Have you ever done something on a dare from your friends for $100 or more?"How many of those people said yes?

I'm sure some have. $100 is a lot of money to bet. I think it's going to be a little higher.

koopakid17 believes it is higher. ding! And the actual number of people who said they've taken dares from their friends for at least $100 is... ding-ding-ding!...50, so it is higher, and koopakid17 will start from the 6. Would you like to play it now or change it?

And unless it's another 2, you will dethrone our current champion with a win. Now is it higher than a 2? Show us! (3 ⋄)ding-ding-ding!(1978 CS Win Cue) You've won the game, plus $2,000 in guaranteed cash, heading into the Money Cards. But mringgenberg, we thank you for three wonderful games, and you will leave us with a large amount in your pocket. $35,800, to be exact. Hopefully we will see you again soon. (1978 CS Theme) When we return, koopakid17 will take on the Money Cards for a chance to win lots more cash. How much? Well, there's only one way to find out, and that's watch after this.

Welcome back to Card Sharks, where koopakid17 just won the grudge match against mringgenberg, and will now play the Money Cards round. You know how this works: The $2,000 that you won in the main game is now guaranteed cash, and you have a chance to win even more by correctly calling the cards. We will start you off with $500 in betting cash, and you can bet any amount on the next card, except in the Big Bet, if and when you get there, you must bet at least half of your bank. Now if you're ready, let's play the Money Cards! Let's start you off with $500, and Tiffany, show us the first card! (J ♥)A Jack! You do have the option to change the first card on each row if you wish to do so. With that being said, would you like to play the Jack or change it?
