A it is. Everyone plays this tiebreaker question, and here it is. Kimberly said, I think my doctor was a butcher before this. Last time I was there he tried to BLANK me. (audience explodes in laughter) James, please wait until until the stars have PMed their answers to me before I call on you.

Chop?

Post by GameShowNetwork on Mar 3, 2017 13:57:10 GMT -5
(audience cheers) The audience seems to like that answer, so let's see what happens. Kevin, do we have a chop from you? Kevin: I don't want to touch this one with the longest meat grinder anyone can find: (TENDERIZE) (buzzer) Me: Hey, let's not barbecue the poor lady! Sam, what did you come up with? Sam: Slaughter. (I turn to judge; buzzer) Me: While slaughter is similar to chop, it is not exactly the same according to our judge. Therefore, it is no match as we go to Bill. Bill: This should be the obvious answer... (shows card) Chop. (ding) Me: Score on for James and I now go to the bottom row starting with Frankie's answer. Frank: Kimberly was definitely being Butchered. (buzzer) Me: Again, similar but no match. Pat, did you come up with chop? Pat: Sorry, I don't know an English word for this question. I'm gonna go with (card)"CHOP". (ding) Me: That's two chops and we go to Matt to wrap it up. Matt: Chop (ding) Me: Three out of six, that is not too bad. gameboy, you need three to tie and four to win and everybody plays this very important question. Tom said "I think the new waitress is flirting with me. Just this morning she made a heart with BLANK. (audience laughs) gameboy, please wait until all six celebrities have PMed me their answers before I call on you

Pancakes. Sounds like a good answer to me, but let's see how the panel did. Kevin, we start with you. Kevin: Strange diner of they're serving heart-shaped (PANCAKES) (ding) Me: There's a match for ya, gameboy. Sam, what did you say? Sam: Couldn't think of anything to say. (buzzer) Me: Well that's unfortunate. Let's see if Bill had better luck. Bill: She made a heart with... (flips card) Honey. (buzzer) Me: A good answer, but not a match. Frank, we check you next. Frank: Matt Bingel, please forgive me. But that heart is made out of.....BACON!!!!!!!!! (buzzer) Me: Folks, we have a savage among us. gameboy, you need the other two to say pancakes to stay alive. Pat, did you say pancakes? Pat: Best bet to make your master see your heart, (shows card)"BLANKET" (buzzer; game win cue) Me: And James is our winner! Just for the record, let's see Matt's answer. (Matt flips over his card, which reads Bacon) I thought one savage was bad enough, but Matt decided to go that route too, I see. Well gameboy, it's been a pleasure having you on our show and we have some lovely gifts for you backstage. (gameboy departs) All right, James is going for the big money in the Super Match, which we'll get to right after this. (Fade to commercial)

Oh brother. Let's get back to the game, shall we? (Back to the studio) James Greek won the game and now he's going for as much as $20,000 in the Super Match. Before we can get to that, however, we have to take care of the Audience Match. Prior to taping, we polled the members of our studio audience and asked them to give their best response to this.
COUNT BLANK
$1,000 $500 $250
Count Blank. Most popular answer gets you a thousand bucks, second most popular gets you $500 and third most popular gets you $250. You may select three stars to help you with this.

I'll go with my own. Count Basie
|
|
|
Post by GameShowNetwork on Mar 6, 2017 12:04:45 GMT -5
Count Basie is what he wants, so let's see if it's on the board. May we see the $250 response please?
COUNT BLANK
$1,000 $500 Count On It
Count On It. That was the answer Bill provided you with. Still looking for Count Basie, let's see the $500 number.
COUNT BLANK
$1,000 Count Basie Count On It
(ding ding ding ding ding)
And there it is, under the $500 number. I think this whole audience, though, is curious to see what's under the big $1,000 number. Slide it Earl!
COUNT BLANK
Count Von Count Count Basie Count On It
Count Von Count would have gotten you the big money. All right, you have yourself $500 and that means the least you'll play for is ten times that number or $5,000. But a lucky spin of the star wheel can double the pot to $10,000. (Star wheel descends from the ceiling) There's the wheel, so let's give it a spin and see what happens. (James gives the star wheel a big spin) My goodness, that's a big one. Let's hope it's worth it. (Wheel begins to slow down on Frank's space. Pointer tries to stop on star portion, but clicks off) Oh, so close to a double. You're going for $5,000 then and you'll be trying to match Frankie on this one. BLANK Street. (Think music plays) James, wait until Frank PMs his answer to me before I call on you.

Sesame Street?

|
Post by GameShowNetwork on Mar 6, 2017 17:06:18 GMT -5
(audience cheers) The audience loves your answer choice. Frank, do we have Sesame Street on your card? Frank: Better start writing the check. (Frank flips over his card, which reads Sesame Street; ding ding ding ding, main theme) Me: And that's a winner! James has won $5,500 and I think there would have been a riot if you had said a different answer. In any event, we're out of time for today. Join us again next time for more craziness here on Match Game, goodbye! Rich: This is Rich Fields speaking for Match Game, a Mark Goodson television production.
