Hellooooo, everybody. I'm Doug Morris -- welcoming you to the Tuesday episode of The $40,000 Chain Reaction. Two players are about to start a race to thousands of dollars. One of them will try to hang on to as many as four cents -- and then try to parlay them into $40,000.

While her movie "Xanadu" wasn't a hit, the soundtrack was -- and includes the hit song by Olivia Newton-John entitled "Magic". A master of legerdemain can easily perform a magic trick. A complex query could be considered a trick question. Any question likely ends in a question mark. Mark Cuban is a successful business man and owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks. And if you can really afford it, you could smoke a Cuban cigar.

That's our first chain -- and after one round, Michael leads $1000 to $500 over Tony. But we're just getting started -- and upping the ante as we start Round 2.
