Hello all,
First I want to announce that the current episode of Retro High Rollers will be the only one I will do.
In hosting it, and in having a hostess roll the dice, I discovered the contestant has very few choices to be made.
Much as I love the set design I re-created, this show will be a one and done deal.
Second, as much as I adore "Three on a Match", after this current episode concludes, I will be putting it on hiatus. I don't know as yet whether it will be temporary or permanent. The main reason for this, much as I very much enjoy the show and the game, is it's taken quite a while to crown a champion with the current set of players that have been in place. I am a bit more partial I suppose to episodes that are self-contained rather than ones that straddle. Additionally, it takes a lot of time and taxes my noggin to come up with so much question material for this show, much as I enjoy learning new trivia and such.
Next, I will be putting Gambit PM on hiatus as well. It may be temporary, it may be permanent. However, I do plan on resurrecting Split Decision (formerly Acey-Deucey). I'm currently working on a rules digest for it, and with the permission of the moderators, I would like to showcase this game on Channel 3 vs. Channel 1 if possible.
Gambit PM also required a lot of research for question material. Furthermore, I realized and discovered that I really loved the Split Decision game much more, especially since three people participate vs. only two.
Scrabble will continue. I love word games and I love trying to come up with clues for the words too. It's a pure joy and pleasure to present it to you all.
And of course once Retro High Rollers concludes, I will be launching my version of Concentration. I'm still working on a new end game which I think and hope will be enjoyed by you all.
Kindest regards and best wishes to all,
Bill
