Mark Liotta has won $8,500 all in cash in the first half of our program this evening. During the second half of our game, in addition to a possible $50,000 in cash at the Big Numbers, one of our players might win this prize during this next game, Frank? Frank (as Kenny Williams): It's this luxury automobile... From Cadillac, the XT5 Crossover… The ultimate in luxury, comfort and class, the XT5 Crossover, furnished by Cadillac. $46,300! Two halves of that prize are hidden behind two of the nine numbers on the game board, which may entice you to gamble and take a roll later on in the game. Claim both halves of that car and win this game and that auto will be yours to keep! First question of this new game, it's a visual question... Is this a picture of Pope Paul VI, Pope John the XXIII or Pope John Paul I? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Bryan, you are first. Do you wish to answer this question or challenge Mark to do so?

I'll take a stab at it. Pope Paul VI

No, I am sorry, that was actually Pope John Paul I, whose reign lasted only from August 26, 1978 until September 28, 1978, making 1978 the first year the Roman Catholic church had three different popes since 1605! Manuela, roll the dice please for Mark... A nine... Many many ways to play this Mark, which number or combination of numbers which add up to nine do you want to take?

(Terribly sorry for the extended delay)... Under the 1 we have... (ding) $2,500 more in cash. Trying to unearth both halves of the car. Let's see if half of it lurks under the 2. (ding) (ding) Hey, that's a very fun prize, a Jukebox! And if you win it Mark, we'll convert your $2,500 cash prize into nickels, and you'll never run out of money for your jukebox ever again! And under the 6 we have... (ding) Some lovely jewelry, his and hers watches. Mark, a very good start for you in this second game of tonight's match. Perhaps the next throw of the dice will reveal one half or even both halves of that car! Next toss-up question. Is the duck-billed playtpus a mammal, Yes or No? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Mark, you signaled first again. Do you wish to answer the question or challenge Bryan to do so? (Courtesy bumps will be offered if necessary, given it's Super Bowl Sunday today and I've been away for quite a while)

Electing to take the roll. Manuela, anything but a 2 or a 6 for Mark and he's still alive in this game. Wow, very close to a six, but it's a seven, a safe roll. Two ways you can play it Mark, do you want the 7 by itself, or do you want the 3 plus 4 combination this time?

Under the three this time we have... (ding) (loud cheering & applause) Half of the car! Did we pull the old side by side trick? Under the four... (ding) Well begorah! It's my long lost great great aunt from Dublin Patty O'Furniture! (chuckling in the audience) This means the 5, 7, 8, 9 and 12 are the only good rolls, and that one of these four remaining numbers houses the other half of that automobile. Five prizes, or technically four and one half prizes now on Mark's side of the board. Here's the next toss-up question. It's a follow-up to the previous question. True or False The platypus is the only mammal that lays eggs. www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Bryan, you signaled first this time. Do you want to answer the question or challenge Mark to do so?

Needs a 5, 7, 8, 9 or 12 to stay alive... NINE! Good roll! (ding) A telephone package, including a new phone and service plan, yours to keep Bryan, if you win this game. Only four good rolls remain, 5, 7, 8 and 12. $1,000 in cash, $1,500 in cash and the other half of the car are all the prizes that remain. Next question... UCLA, Ohio State or Notre Dame Which university's fight song includes the line "Wake up the echoes"? www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_BUZZIN.mp3Mark, you are first. Do you want to answer or challenge?

And Manuela rolls... An eleven... I'm afraid that's no good Mark (BUZZER) And Bryan wins this game! (Win cue) Let's hear about what you won Bryan, here's Frank. (High Rollers prize theme) Frank Caliendo (as Kenny Williams): Bryan, you've won a pair of iPhone SE's, comes complete with calling, texting and data plan for two years. This prize is valued at over $2,950 (applause) Bryan will try to win tens of thousands of dollars in cold hard cash, the Big Numbers, right after this!

Bryan will now have a chance to win as much as $50,000 in cash here at the BIG NUMBERS. Manuela will roll the money dice first, followed by the golden dice. Remove all 9 numbers and you will win 50 times the amount of her last roll of the money dice. Good luck Bryan. Manuela's first roll of the money dice... $750, and the first roll... www.dougmorris.net/dice/HR78_DOUBLES.mp3Whoa! Big ol' Box Cars to start Bryan. An insurance marker for you later on if you need it. Many many ways you can make a 12. 9 and 3, 9, 2 and 1, 8 3 and 1, 7 and 5, etc. etc. Which numbers do you want to remove Bryan?

Getting the high and low ones out of the way early, so as not to leave that 1 "orphaned"... Next roll of the money dice... Another nice big amount, $800! And the golden dice... Eight... Two options this time Bryan, the 8 by itself, or the 3 and 5 combination. Which do you choose?
