Lot of excitement coming into this next episode of Crag: The Numbers Game. Let's get right to it.
Some notes...
\ Lenny Jackson has won four matches and $287,100 in cash.
\ If Lenny wins this match, he retires undefeated and wins an Aston Martin Vantage GT plus a gas card loaded with $200,000.
\ Since we've been away for awhile, we'll forego qualifying and ask -- who's in? Anyone who has not opposed Lenny may respond; first one to respond is in.

I'll give this a go Doug, but just to be clear from the start, my name is Glen and not Kourtney!

(update of classic jingle) Singers: Eleven -- Eleven Aliiiiiiiive.
(drum roll)
Doug: (in pre-recorded audio) Our current champion, Lenny Jackson, has won four matches and $287,100 in cash. If he wins today's match, he wins a brand new Aston Martin Vantage GT and a $200,000 gas card. (last seconds of WGYN theme kick in) He could go on to become the biggest winner in the history of......Crag: The Numbers Game. (audience cheers)Helloooo, everybody, I'm Doug Morris and welcome to Crag: The Numbers Game -- where 13 can be lucky. If you've been with us all this week, you're well aware a lot is at stake in this game. Let's welcome our players. Our challenger is Glen Brown -- and, once again, our champion, Lenny Jackson. (audience cheers)Lenny, when someone's on the verge of an undefeated champion, we give you a chance to say hello to friends and loved ones anywhere on Earth.

Well, I'm an IT consultant from Canada. I enjoy playing golf, tennis and curling (I'm great in the hack, eh? -- a little curling humor for you there). It's a pleasure to be here and I think I'm up for the challenge of trying to dethrone Lenny!

Nice to have you here from Canada. Good luck to you, both. Play carefully -- because a lot is riding on this match. Time to start our first numbers game of the match. Much like the regular dice game of Crag, our game is all about numbers -- particularly the numbers you can roll on dice. The right answer to each question on our show is a number between 1 and 6 inclusive. Sometimes, we'll ask for the Roman numeral or ordinal equivalent of one of those numbers. And there are also missing digit questions to watch for. I'll explain how they work later. (ding)A question mark suddenly pops up. That means we're starting off with a single digit question. Hands on the buzzers, please, and away we go with this. On the Nickelodeon game show "Double Dare", the show's original announcer was credited with a one-word name. How many different letters are in the announcer's name? 57 redrangerdude 07 drgullen 49 randomizer.org(Lenny buzzes in)Lenny?

Champ says there are 6 letters in the announcer's name. Is he right? (ding; audience applause)Yes. Harvey's the announcer name. Lenny, you know the drill by now. For anyone looking in for the first time, Lenny has earned, with that right answer, up to two rolls of the Crag dice that correct answer. Lenny, if you like what you come up with on your first roll, take the point value of the combination and we'll proceed to Round 2. If you'd rather reroll, freeze up to two dice and reroll the rest. And let's take a brief look at our big screen -- where we have the different ways you can score a lot of points. There are four different straights in the game of Crag worth 20 points each. The 1-2-3 make up a low straight; 4-5-6 a high straight; 1-3-5 an odd straight and 2-4-6 an even straight. It doesn't matter how they appear on the board. As long as they're all different and they're all low, high, odd or even, you're 20 points to the good. If you roll three of the same number, that's a triple for 25 points. And as we say, 13 *is* a lucky number on Crag. If you come up with three numbers that total 13, I'll double the sum for 26. *But* if you have a pair of numbers plus an odd number that total 13, that's a Crag for 50 points. (audience cheers)(rolling sfx)The dice now roll. Lenny, stop the dice, please, one at a time -- but hitting your buzzer.
(Lenny, to stop the dice, please respond with three letters from A through F inclusive. You may repeat letters if you think that will help.)

Lenny's going with 4 colors. We have a few dignitaries from India in the audience today. We'll tell you why later -- as I see them nod in agreement with the champ. Does the judge controlling the board say he's right? (ding; audience applause)Yes he is. India's flag is made up of orange, white and green stripes. They account for 3 colors. The *fourth* color comes from with a navy blue wheel in the middle. (rolling sfx)Nicely solved by Lenny. Dice are yours again.

Doug: Taking the points -- and padding the lead. Lenny leads 35 to nothing. Glen, let's see if you change your luck with a missing digit question. Now, we mentioned we have a delegation from India in our audience today. We're trying to sell Crag: The Numbers Game to a television network in India. And now our special guest -- the designated host for Crag in India -- Sunil Narkar. (audience cheers) (Sunil enters from stage right; he and Doug shake hands) Doug: Sunil, welcome. Sunil: Oh, thank you very much. May I summarize what's happened early on in the game, Doug. Doug: Sure -- why not? Sunil: NooooooOOOO CRAG! (audience laughs and applauds) Play is still on. Doug: Some things never change. Sunil, Round 3, traditionally on our show, brings about the first missing digit question of the match. And we usually play a sample question. I'll let you host the sample question. Sunil: Oh, thank you very much. Well -- you might remember when I was referee on "National Bingo Night" here in America. Doug: Oh -- absolutely. Sunil: We'll, we're about to put on the board the year "National Bingo Night" debuted in my country -- India. When the year appears on the board, the players may try to signal first and identify the missing digit represent by the question mark. (ding)Doug: He's got this down pat already. The first player to chime in and say 2... (ding)Doug: ...would win the question and the two rolls of the dice. Sunil, the intended question for Round 3 also involves India. Want to host this one? Sunil: I'd be honored. Thank you. Doug: The floor is yours. Sunil: Okay, contestants. Good luck with this proper missing digit question for Round 3. Missing digit question: As Doug noted earlier, the national flag of India has the depiction of a navy blue wheel in the middle. We will show you how many spokes are in that wheel -- and you tell me the missing digit.(ding)70 redrangerdude 21 drgullen 12 randomizer.org(Glen buzzes in)Sunil: Glen?

If I'm not mistaken, it's a 24-spoke wheel, so the missing number would be 4?

Sunil: Let's see if you're right, Glen. Is the last digit a 4? (ding; audience applause)Sunil: That is right for two rolls of the Crag dice. Well done. (rolling sfx)Doug: You might as well call out the numbers Glen stops on. Sunil: Okay, Glen, good luck with the Crag dice.
[Glen, as with Lenny, please stop the dice with three letters from A-F inclusive. Repeating letters is allowed if you think it will help.]

(ding)Sunil: You have a 2. (ding)Sunil: You have another 2. (ding) (scattered cheers) Sunil: And you have a third 2, Glen. That's a 25-point triple if you wish to end the round here. Currently, you're trailing 35 to nothing. Doug: (to execs from India) Ya know, he's got this game down pat. (scattered laughter from the crowd) This show would be a hit in India.

Doug: Challenger takes the points, we've got a closer game and we'll say farewell, for now, to Sunil Narkar. Sunil, I'll see you and the rest of the folks from India in the conference room after the show. Sunil: Looking forward to negotiations. I think we'll have a winner in Crag in India. Doug: I think so, too. Sunil Narkar, ladies and gentleman. (audience cheers)(Doug and Sunil shake hands again; Sunil waves to crowd and exits stage right; as Sunil leaves studio, this appears on big screen) Doug: Now, we'll move on to Round 4 and a Crag's List question. Let's see what's on the list today. (ding)American cities -- Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Miami, New York City and Seattle. Now, one, some or all of these cities actually belong on the list. Here's a single digit question that will prove to be the determining factor. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" launched a successful reality show franchise. How many of these cities are *or* were the home bases for other "Real Housewives" shows? 22 redrangerdude 28 drgullen 99 randomizer.org(Glen buzzes in)Glen?

Well, I know for sure that Atlanta and Miami were in that series and I used to live in Vancouver and don't ever remember any Real Housewives of Seattle, so I'd say no to that one. I also don't recall Chicago or Houston, so I think those are out, too. I remember a Real Housewives of New Jersey, but I don't know for sure about New York. It would kind of make sense though given the close proximity.
So, I'll say Atlanta, Miami and New York City -- total of 3.

Dude, I just needed a number, not an essay answer. (audience laughs and applauds)After all, we need to look good in front of these executives from India. (audience laughs)If 3 of these cities were settings for "Real Housewives" spinoffs, the bell will sound, the 3 cities that do not belong on the list will vanish and we'll go to the dice. Is Glen right, at least, about 3 cities? (ding; audience applause)Yup -- and you were right about the ATL, Miami and New York City. (rolling sfx)All right, Glen. Chance to take the lead right here.

Well, I've been on business trips in all 3 of those cities and had memorable taxi drivers in each one, so let's go with CAB.
