(HR87 theme plays) (audience cheers) Doug: It's good to be back in these familiar and yet unpredictable surroundings. Announcer: The dean of dice games, Doug Morris, comes to ABC with an exciting new show. Announcer: It's Lucky Numbers - the show where thousands can be won or lost on a toss of the dice. (player rolls dice) (danger zone cue) Announcer: Winners take on the main event to collect medals and luxurious prizes. (audience cheers) Doug: Dawn, a 4 is left on the board. Roll a 4 in any combination in five tries or less and you win the car, the trip to Rio, $2500 in fashions -- and $75,000 in cash. But a 7 at any time means you lose everything. Are you going for it? (obvious edit) Dawn: Oh, you bet. Doug: Good luck and go get it. (player rolls dice) (wild cheers) Doug: A 4! You did it! Announcer: ABC's Lucky Numbers - coming soon to daytime here on ABC.

Interesting rules digest. I love rule sheets!
One question I have Doug. You mentioned 15 "rounds" for a match. I am guessing then that it's not necessarily a best 2 game out of 3 match, rather, the player with the highest cash total wins. Did I interpret this correctly?
I hope I will qualify as a future contestant!
Best always,
Bill

That seems very fair and viable too. So often when I watched the pilots that Trebek did for this game, I had wondered, what if a game went on and on and on and on without either the second 7 being rolled nor the "lucky" number hitting on the dice. I'd think after a while that would prove rather tedious for all involved to watch. This 15 round idea is an outstanding idea to implement for this game.

Looking at it the other way, LN as originally intended could've been won by a champion in just two rolls of the dice. Where's the fun in that?
