Right for $100 more... Interesting strategy here, electing to pass the next card to Matt. Let's see what it is... (gasps from the audience) A big 10 of Diamonds. Matt you now have 18. You may freeze. If you elect to continue, you may not freeze again until or unless you receive another card. What do you want to do?

I'm not the least bit surprised either... If that 18 holds up Matt, you'll win the game, $900 and we'll have a tied up match and have to play a tiebreaker Meantime, Michael, you must get every question right and beat 19 to win the game, the match, and earn your first trip to the Gambit Board. Was it Alan Alda, Gary Burghoff, or Loretta Swit who appeared in the 1970 motion picture "M*A*S*H"?

Is right for $100! (applause) What is Michael's first card please Lynn? (audience "ooohs") That 3 would have gone nicely with your 18 Matt. Next question. True or False? Legendary NBA star Wilt Chamberlain was over 7 feet tall.

He was 7ft 1 inch, so it is true! (applause) The next card won't win for you, but may help get you closer. Lynn, please... Ah, a little more flexibility now... Does a standard regulation dartboard have more or less than 24 numbers on it Michael?

Correct! It has only 20! (applause) And if this next card happens to be a 6, you too will have 20, the game and the match. Lynn, for the win...show us Michael's next card please... (moans from the audience) A Queen of Clubs, or as I like to sometimes say "A Queen of Doggy Paws". Now you have a hard and steadfast 14. You need a 5, 6 or 7 to win the game and the match. An 8 or higher and Matt will tie this match up. Of course you need to get this next question correct first Michael... True or False? During The Brady Bunch's entire original primetime run on ABC, Richard Nixon was President of the United States.

It is true! (applause) The Brady Bunch originally ran on ABC primetime from September 1969 until May 1974. Nixon was president from January 1969 until August 1974. Another $100, but now Michael, you're in a perilous position. You have 14, Matt has frozen on 18. You need a 5, a 6 or a 7 to win the game and the match. Anything above a 7 and you'll go over and we'll have a tied up match at a game apiece. Lynn, what do you have for Michael? TWENTY ONE AGAIN!!!!! www.fileswap.com/dl/7IcdqlFbv3/GambitBlackjackCheerApplause.mp3.htmlOh my word! I mean to tell you Michael, you really cut those cards perfectly! TWO 21's for a match win! That's ultimately the name of the game! $1,050 for getting 21, as we pay $50 per point to the winner, plus the Any 21 Jackpot which is still at $1,000 and will remain so at the start of tomorrow's episode, so $2,050 for that game alone, added to what you won earlier, Michael, even before you're first trip to the Gambit Board, you have won... SEVEN-THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED Dollars!!! (applauding & cheering)....and that is AAAAAAAAAALLLL CA$H too! Matt Ringgenberg, you were an excellent contestant, you had very good scores both times you froze, unfortunately for you it was more in the cards for Michael, however, we pay $25 per point for non-winning players as long as they don't go over 21, so another $450 added to your total, plus all the parting gifts you heard tell about earlier, a grand total in cash... One-Thousand One-Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars! A very nice round of applause for Matt Ringgenberg... As for you Michael, time to get to the bonus round, what we affectionately call the Gambit Board! Frank? www.fileswap.com/dl/7vgdIMa622/05_-_Contestant_Intro_2.mp3.htmlFRANK (as Kenny Williams): Tonight at the Gambit Board, any 21 wins a cash jackpot of at least... Five-Thousand dollars in cash, plus, with the right combination of numbers... This Lincoln Navigator! (audience ooohs and ahhs) New for 2015, it's the Lincoln Navigator, retail value...$59,380!!! Lincoln, Our Finest Command Performance... Back to you Bill! Thank you Frank! Indeed Michael could win thousands upon thousands of dollars in cash, great trips, and that Navigator among other nice prizes! Will he do it? You'll have to stay tuned to find out! Back after this!

Back to Gambit PM, our first Gambit Board trip. Michael, you've been hot tonight so far, winning 2 games to 0 in the match, both times with a 21, plus you already won the "Beat the Dealer" mini bonus game for $2,500 in cash. Now a lot more waiting for you to win! Lynn has for you a freshly shuffled deck of 52 playing cards that were supervised under the ever watchful eye of our CBS Standards and Practices division. Michael, give them a lucky cut at this time by selecting a number higher than 0 but lower than 52, this will represent how deeply into the deck you wish to cut them. Meantime I'd like to remind you that up on the Gambit Board we have our 4 suit cards, each worth $1,000 plus $1,000 any time any card in your hand matches that suit, as long as you don't go over 21. One card is 500 times, meaning we'll pay you $500 times the value of your next card, again assuming you don't go over 21. For the purposes of that 500 times card Michael, 10's and all Face Cards are worth $5,000 in cash, and all Aces worth $5,500. Two other money cards on the big board as well, they are Mystery Money cards. You can elect to keep them or pick again. The mystery money can be anywhere from as low as $250 up to $5,000 in cash. We also have 2 trips, one domestic and one foreign up on the board, divided into 2 halves. If you select half a trip, you get to pick again. Also, 3 cards on the board spell out the word CAR. If you pick one, you get to pick again. If you uncover all 3, and get exactly 21, you will win that lovely Lincoln that Frank described a few moments ago. Other nice and nifty prizes also up on that board, but there is one card to be weary of, and that is the dreaded Plus 1 or Minus 1 card. If you select that, you don't get any prize for that card and you will have to make a decision if that comes up. Michael, after you indicate how deeply you want to cut into the deck, I'll ask you to select your first Gambit Board number.

(to Lynn) If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?
(audience laughter & I notice it again)
Oh yeah. I gotta cut the cards again.
18
(whispers to Lynn) I'll give you my number after the show.

Okay the cards are cut, 18 deep. Now I need for you to select a number from 1 to 21 on the Gambit Board. Just as an aside, Lynn is my niece and she is also a newlywed

And behind #13 we have... (ding) Mystery Money or Pick Again. There is a money amount hidden behind those dollar signs. It could be as little as $250 or as much as $5,000 or any amount in between. You can opt to take the money or pick again. What's your pleasure Michael?

And the amount of cash under that is... www.dougmorris.net/chain/sfxding.mp3$1,972! (applause) That of course was the year Gambit first hit the airwaves on CBS Daytime, and we're very glad to now be back during the day on CBS as well as our edition seen here in the early evening. A couple of reminders before we continue Michael. If you go over 21, you win nothing during this round. If you beat the dealer's score, you will win $250 times your score plus all the prizes on the Gambit Board that you have uncovered. There are two sets of half trips on the board, to win a trip you must uncover both halves during the same bonus game. And I've just been told that any half trip cards you earn you may carry over into your next game and next Gambit board appearance, if you don't go over 21 and if you beat the dealer, and of course if you make it back here again. Furthermore, we have those three letter cards that spell CAR on the board and those may be carried over too. The first card of your hand is going to determine what your minimum score is required to be in order to win the prizes. If your first card is a club or a heart, you will win with 16 or more, a spade, you will need 17 or better, and lastly if your first card is a diamond, you'll need 18 or more. Lynn, what's Michael's first card please? A 6 of Hearts. So a heart means you need 16 or more to win. So you just need to beat a 15 today. Back to the board for your next selection Michael.

And behind number 8 we find... www.dougmorris.net/chain/sfxding.mp3A $1,000 suit card! (applause) Another $1,000 in cash, now $2,972 in cash up for grabs here. You'll add another $1,000 for every Club you happen to draw. Michael has 6 already, what's his next card Lynn? (audience groans) A 9 giving you 15. Michael you have to beat 15 to win any prizes from the big board, however, you could go over on this next card. If you want, I'll pay you $250 per point right now, $3,750 to quit. If you continue and are able to beat the house, you'll still get $250 per point plus any Gambit Board prizes. If you continue and go over, then you win nothing. So do you take the sure thing or try to go for more?

I can't say that I blame you Michael. So another $3,750 in cash. But I'm curious to see, were Michael's instincts correct? Lynn, what would his next card have been? A ten! You were right to stop! (applause) We'll take a quick time out and recap Michael's winnings, right after this!
