Here comes the E... www.televisiontunes.com/Scrabble_-_Letter_Check.html(ding) Last position in the word, might help you. The clue again is - It's usually a most unwelcome arrival. Do you know it David, or do you need two more tiles? Only 3 left, one is that last stopper.

(word win cue) And thankfully I have no first hand experience with one of those, and hope not to ever! 2 to 1 in favor of David, so we'll go back to the board with you Steve. First, you'll need to select an envelope. You want the bottom blue, middle pink or lower pink one?

This word will add $200 to somebody's bank, possibly $700 or even $1,200 depending on if you solve it on a pink or blue square. Building off of the letter E this time, there are six letters in this word and the clue is... (outline) It often makes a good point in the classroom. Steve, what do you want to do?

(word win cue) Indeed that does tie it up at 2 to 2... www.televisiontunes.com/Scrabble_-_Speedword_Start.htmlAnd indeed that does put us in SPEEDWORD... The winner of this next word will win $500 plus the value of the envelope selected... Steve, since you got us into Speedword, you get to choose, blue or pink? One is worth $150 the other $450.

That's the big one! So this last word will add $950 to someone's bank and only the winner of this word will get to keep their bank and play Scrabble Sprint to establish a time. Building off of the letter D this time, there are five letters in this word... And the clue is... It's a good undercover location for spies. Players, send to me via private message how few letters you will need added to this word to solve it. Your bid can be 0, 1, 2 or 3. If you both submit the same bid, the first player to have submitted will get first guess.

You got it!!! (win cue) (main theme plays) Steve, $450 for the word, $500 for the game since you won by the skin of your teeth 3 words to 2, $1,300 for this game, giving you a grand total of $69,600!!!!!!!! (NBC canned "Whoa") David, the bad news is you didn't win any money this time. The good news, you will get to play another crossword game against a new challenger a little bit later on. We're going to take a break, and when we return, Steve will establish a time at the Scrabble Sprint! Be back in 2 and 2.

(theme music) Well we are back (at long last). Steve won the first crossword game and is now going to establish a time. The winner of the next crossword will try to beat that time. Steve, we play 3 words in the Sprint Round. Those words are 5, 8 and 9 letters long. Each packet, blue and pink, contains three words. You select one packet and the winner of the next crossword will play the words in the other packet. Do you want blue or pink Steve?

A reminder that there are no stoppers in any of these words, all of the letters are good, and we can't give you the last missing letter. Also, if you make an incorrect solve, a penalty of 5 letters will be added to the clock. Lastly, all guesses or tile choices must be made within a 48 hour time period, otherwise there will be a 2 letter penalty added to the clock. First word, five letters... And the clue is... Some of them are well grounded. Call out your first tile or the answer if you think you know it Steve. And...go!
