It was Alexander Fleming. For the money... During the anthrax scare that took place after the 2001 terrorist attacks, Cipro was the drug of choice to treat it.

Cipro indeed was the drug of choice to treat that. That's your one mistake permitted. One last question for $100 Kevin... Rx is Latin for "take".

False again.

I'm sorry, that is actually true too... (groans in the audience) Frank, one order of a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down with our audience. Sorry about that Kevin, but this could prove a break for you James... You are next closest to the code. Please select one of the four remaining letters in MATCH, the A is out of play, and also one of the remaining two categories James. At least one has a bonus card.

(All: Due to James' vacation post, I will be temporarily postponing this game until James' return, or until Tuesday, January 10th, at which time I would request a replacement player, whichever comes first. Good luck James with your computer maintenance! I went through it last year with my old machine, had to take it back twice, so I sympathize!)

It's working fine now. My aunt has not done anything. I did something bad and my aunt caught me and she hasn't taken this tablet away from me yet

Thank you James.
Olympics is the subject you've chosen and which letter, M, T, C or H?

An $80 contract if you get 3 out of 4 right James... (ding) Plus a bonus of an additional $50 if you can get all four questions correct. The Olympics is the category, and here is your first true/false question James in that subject. Following the 1972 Munich Olympics, gold medalist American swimmer Mark Spitz retired from competition even though he was still only 22 years old.

Indeed it is true. And he must have some very tiny Social Security checks! (Chuckling) The IOC threatened to revoke Squaw Valley California's right to host the 1960 Olympic Games

No, I'm sorry that was actually true. The United States balked at giving visas to athletes who were representing Communist countries is how it came about initially. A shot at the $50 bonus is out of play, but still trying for 80 bucks. Need to get both remaining questions correct James. During the 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid, the U.S. Hockey team miraculously won the Gold Medal game vs. the U.S.S.R.

Oh no. James I am sorry, that was false. The GOLD Medal game actually was against Finland. The win over the Soviets helped team USA to advance to that game. Kourtney, that leaves you with the category of Scotland, laddy... Select a letter please, T, C or H to determine the contract value, and then we'll see if perhaps we didn't hide another bonus under that subject.

Let's go with T please.

Kourtney has $160 already, whatever gets added here, if he completes this contract, will more than likely inspire him to go to the board... Another $90, so a total of $250...., but no bonus card unfortunately. 3 out of 4 to win another 90 bucks, Scotland's the category, and again, all questions are true or false answers. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh.

False.

That is true actually. Must go three for three for the contract... Scotland's largest city is also Edinburgh.

Correct. One more for $90 and presumably a trip to the board... Golf's British Open is always held at St. Andrew's Golf Course in Scotland.

And that is... False. (Groans in the audience) There have been about a dozen or so different golf courses to have hosted the British Open. Terribly sorry about that. Frank, I think this is a first, a triple-stumper. Well, let's pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and start all over again, shall we? Three new categories, which will hopefully prove to be more contestant friendly... Funny Fellows, Landmarks and Stars' Memoirs. Gentlemen, please submit your codes to me privately at this time.

The codes are locked in... The code is 59 this time. By the way, thank you for all who have voted on the poll. There is still time for your voice to be heard as well, so please, if you haven't done so already, please vote, and we only count each of your votes...one time (chuckling)... And we have another first here. Kourtney is closest with 65. All three players were close! Kevin and James both locked in with 70 as their code. Whoever submitted his code first will go next, assuming Kourtney is unable to complete his contract. Let's find out who that individual is... James, you were quicker, so be on stand-by in case Kourtney is unable to win this contract. Which category appeals most to you this time Kourtney?

Thank you Kourtney, I neglected to ask for a letter first. $90 but no bonus. Incidentally, starting tomorrow, we're implementing a new rule regarding our question board, and implementing new bonus cards. Starting tomorrow, the completion of two question contracts will earn our players the right to go to the big matching board, and depending on how many questions they get right, they will earn 7, 8 or 9 picks from the board. For now Kourtney's trying for $90 additional dollars in the category of FUNNY FELLOWS... Richard Pryor was once arrested for tax evasion.
