The tried and true 2 out of 3 game format will remain in place. The Gambit Board will still be used, but in a different style.
I've already given a sneak peek for the "Beat the Dealer" new cash endgame which can pay off up to $50,000 as well.
Here's how I intend to do episodes now, all self-contained, similar to how they were a while ago, but not entirely.
First segment - CASINO
Both players will compete against Manuela, the dealer, in four hands of Blackjack. The dealer will have one hole card and one up card. The other players will have all their cards dealt face up.
A deck of 52 cards shuffled previously will be unsealed and presented to the challenger, who will then have the option to cut the cards, or not to cut them if he/she so chooses.
Hand 1 - $100 to each player who beats the dealer. If there's a tie, $50 awarded to each player.
Hand 1 - $50 added bonus to the player with the high hand, but only paid if that player beats the dealer. If both players are tied with the high hand, the $50 will be split.
Hand 2 - $200 for beating the dealer plus $100 bonus for the player with the high hand.
Hand 3 - $300 for beating the dealer plus $150 bonus for the player with the high hand.
Hand 4 - $400 for beating the dealer plus $200 bonus for the player with the high hand.
Second segment - Classic Gambit Game 1 of the match.
A new deck of 52 cards will be unsealed and the challenger will be given the option to cut the cards. They may elect not to as well, which is a new rule.
The winner of each game will be paid $50 multiplied by their winning score, with a house minimum of $500 for a win.
A 21 is worth the Any 21 Jackpot which starts at $5,000 and grows by $500 per game until won.
***CATCH 21 RULE CHANGE*** Once a player freezes, the other player will simply have cards dealt to their hand. There won't be any requirement for the unfrozen player to answer any further questions. This will add an element of strategy and risk to the player who considers freezing, and will make the game go a bit faster.
The winner of game 1 will also receive a merchandise prize ranging from $500 to $1,250 in value.
Third segment - Classic Gambit Game 2 of the match & Sudden Death hand if needed.
The remaining cards in the deck will have been reshuffled and resealed. The challenger will again be given the option to cut the cards or not to.
Game 2 is the same as game 1, except the merchandise prize will range from $1,300 up to $2,500 in value.
If the match is tied after two games, a new Sudden Death game will be played.
The winner of game 2 will have the option to play first or to play last.
The risk in playing first is if you draw too many cards and go over 21, your opponent automatically wins the match.
The reward in playing first is if you draw 21 exactly, you win the Any 21 jackpot and the match instantly.
Which ever player goes first will have cards dealt to them. Once their score is higher than 11 but lower than 21, they will have the option to freeze or draw another card. If the first player in sudden death freezes, the other player must draw cards that will beat the first player's score to take the match.
The winner of the match goes to the Gambit Board, which will now be fashioned after the $ale of the Century Winner's Board.
21 numbers, one has a CAR, one has $20,000 in cash, one says "SWAP" which if uncovered will carry over to the Beat the House end game, two are WIN cards. If a WIN card is picked, then the next prize that is uncovered is the prize that is won.
The rest of the cards:
2 - Trip cards (Yes I am bringing trips back)
2 - $5,000 cash cards (match those first and win $5,000)
2 - Furniture cards (for various rooms of furniture)
2 - Electronic cards
2 - "For a Year" cards
2 - Vehicle cards (non-car type vehicle prizes)
2 - Jewelry
2 - Fun prizes (e.g. Spa, Pool Table, Bar Set, Golf Package)
For the first day, the champion wins the first prize he/she matches.
For days 2, 3 and 4, the champion will get to match two prizes for winning the match.
For day 5, the final three prizes will automatically be won by the champion if he/she wins the 5th day.
Segment 4 - BEAT THE HOUSE
As showcased on the last episode, Beat the House will be played for up to $50,000.
Two changes: 1 - No swaps will be given for free, but if one is found on the Gambit Board, it will carry over to this game.
2 - Only 13 CA$H CARD$ will appear at the start of each hand. They will be reshuffled at the start of each of the first for hands of play.
The 13 cash cards will be $5,000 $4,500 $4,000 $3,500 $3,000 $2,750 $2,500 $2,250 $2,000 $1,750 $1,500 $1,250 and $1,000.
