Hi gang,
Although I tend to be an early riser, and an earlier one now thanks to the clocks going back one hour, I will probably be on here a limited amount of time tomorrow and Wednesday the 9th.
I work 6am til 2pm EST Mon - Fri as you may know.
After work tomorrow, I am going to go vote. I realize my vote probably will not matter A. because I am in the blue state of Pennsylvania and/or B. due to rigging of elections and/or election machines.
My goal is to go home, try to nap for about 4 or 5 hours so I can stay up to watch the returns. Depending on the outcome, I will either be very upset and depressed and need more sleep the next day, or I will be so jubilant that I will be as exhausted as I was last week when I watched the last game of this year's World Series.
Therefore, I am anticipating very limited time on here the next two days, or possibly none at all depending on circumstances. Plus on Wednesday the 9th I have an appointment after work.
Best, Bill

Have you seen the rigging taking place already, Bill? Shameless. The Clinton machine will not stop.
At least Trump has a better chance at winning Pennsylvania than my home state. They treat Hillary like a saint here in New York.

There were some voting irregularities taking place in Philly yesterday from what I heard, which sadly is nothing new.
It was indeed a proud moment when I heard in the wee hours of the morning that my home state of Pennsylvania was the one that put Mr. Trump over the top.
His speech was terrific.
So much ado was made about him not making one if he lost, and yet Mrs. Clinton was unwilling to do the same early this morning, sending Podesta down instead.
I honestly did not take delight in seeing the hurting, frightened and even crying faces of those supporters who were there. I know how they feel, as I went through this feeling in 2012, 2008, and 2000 (yes I voted Gore in 2000).

As of now, Hillary is making her official concession speech, addressing the public and supporters like me. Yes, I am a Democrat, and yes, I voted Hillary yesterday, knowing full well that both candidates would face a very difficult task ahead of them. I'm still a little distraught that Hillary lost, but am glad to hear that Hillary is taking it all in stride.
I know that Bill and I are total opposites when it comes to politics at least, but the one thing we ALL need to do is take our time and put the bitterness behind us. The campaign is over, the result is decided, and it was a humbling result for some...a jubilant result for others.
In closing, I do want to say this, even though I never thought I'd do so (but I'd be remiss and unsportsmanlike if I didn't do this)....Donald Trump, in the eyes of the American people, you're hired!

Very well phrased Jon.
I know in 2000 I was upset when Bush was named the 43rd President when the Supreme Court decided it. Other election results have left me disheartened too in the past.
It's important to remember we are the United States, and that it's easy to rearrange the letters in united to make it say untied.
It is also important to remember we have had deep divides in our nation in the past, including a devastating Civil War during Mr. Lincoln's presidency.
My hope and belief is that if our nation could heal from those deep divides, we can have a meeting of the minds in a civil way, rather than a civil war.
United We Stand, Divided We Fall. Another way of saying "Stronger Together".
