All right, second round chain goes something like this.

The Ford Motor Company includes the Lincoln Motor Company; also, Abraham Lincoln was assassinated at Ford's Theatre. President Lincoln is depicted on the heads side of a penny. A penny dreadful is part of 19th Century literature; there's, of course, the TV series "Penny Dreadful". "Dreadful" would likely be said by Simon Cowell when he says a bad act in a talent competition. Simon Cowell is a native of England. And England is a country in the continent of Europe.

That's your chain. By completing the chain, David narrowed the gap -- and trails by just $1000. As we head into our third chain, we up the ante. Will David become the new champ -- or will Bill return to the final chain?
