From BBC's format hosted by Shane Richie, boosting the prize money for maximum gameplay:
"You got $200,000......*Coins come up in columns* That's what this wall worth! Can three hopefuls try to work together to win a fortune? Or will all hope come crashing down?"
(DECIMATE!)
"Find out on America's newest quiz show: Decimate!"
The format works like this:
There's three parts of the game and one last part to win the money.
In the three main rounds, in each one: the team has to decide who goes first: however: each player has a specialty subject, and ten questions stand between the current player and $200,000.
On each question, there will be three answers only one is right.
If correct: the column will light up. Keeping the money in play.
If wrong..... (DECIMATE!) that part of the money is gone!
At the start of each show: each column is worth $20,000. Get a question wrong during round 1: $20,000 is gone from the $200,000. It's possible to end the whole game by getting all 10 questions wrong (hopefully it won't happen).
At the start of Round 2 & 3: Depending how much money, the team has still in the game at the end of round 1, the wall will divide the remaining money into ten new columns if possible.
The two teammates sit out but the team has 5 OVERRULES: Change the chosen answer. And 5 PASSOVERS: Passing the question onto the teammates.
The End Game: The last part of the quiz is where the team can try to win the whole lot. By one player taking on the wall: only answering General Knowledge questions but in 2 mins (20 questions)
Every three wrong answers on a column, that column is gone and the wall is reset to divide the current prize money and the team has to choose out of two other players whose is going next.
The Finale ends if:
1. The number of questions reach the target. Losing all the money.
2. All three players each get 3 wrong answers, running out of chances.
3. Answer all ten questions correctly: Winning the prize money.
Please give opinions on format and how would you improve it?
(This will alternate with LINGO/BOGGLE HOUR)
