[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Thank you, Bill. And (whether you win or lose) we wish you the very best of luck. We play the best 2 out of 3 games. The winner gets to play the Money Cards for thousands more including at least a chance of winning a brand new automobile. *G2-T2 hovers all the way to center stage* We begin round 1 with our first question. *grabs card* Bill... we've asked 100 married women-- When your husband is in a romantic mood, but you're not, do you feel guilty? How many of them say they are guilty when they're not in a romantic mood with their husbands?

I can only speak from my own personal experience, and I can honestly say if she wasn't in the mood, she showed zero signs of guilt.
I suspect that would be a fairly low number Tony, women have been using the "Not tonight dear, I have a headache." line going back to the days of Adam and Eve probably...
21 out of 100 wives said they felt guilty about not being in the mood.

[DING]Bill says 21 of them. What do you think of that answer, Raymond... higher or lower?

Your agree with Bill's logic, but I think it's gonna be a little higher.

Your agree with Bill's logic, but I think it's gonna be a little higher. Any reason why you think the answer is higher, Raymond?

I just have a gut feeling that it's gonna be higher.

Post by tmann3x on Oct 21, 2016 11:07:03 GMT -5
[DING]If it's higher, you'll play your cards. If not Bill will play his cards. And if one of you gets the answer exactly, you'll receive a $1,000 bonus. Bill says 21 and Raymond says it's higher... And the actual number of married women say they are guilty when they're not in a romantic mood with their husbands is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]25. Raymond's right... it is higher. The challenger will begin the first round starting with... ...a 3.

I'm gonna freeze.

And we'll move the freeze bar to protect the cards from his opponent. Coming up after the break, we'll have a second question for our challenger. Will our champ Bill win the question and play his cards? We'll have that answer when Card Sharks continues right after a special announcement from Nintendo of America. Stick around, folks... we're coming back in a moment. [CLOSING THEME, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]*fade to commercial* ========================================================================================

*back to studio* [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Welcome back to Card Sharks. For those of you who have tuned in for the first time... welcome. Right now, let's see what the board looks like before the break. Our challenger Raymond is in the lead with only three cards left to win the first game of the match while our 4-time champion Bill haven't touched his base card yet. Let's resume round 1 with our second question. *grabs card* Raymond... this question is for you and it involves 10 people who were divorced seven times or more. Ladies and gentlemen, come on over to the Contestants' Row area. [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE][10 PEOPLE WALK TO THE AREA] Raymond, we've asked the 10 divorced people this question-- Honestly, are you a difficult person to live with? How many of them have admitted that they are a difficult person to live with?
|
|
|
Post by bowlerraymond on Oct 23, 2016 17:45:47 GMT -5
I think some people will think it, but I don't know how many would actually admit it, so I think 5 of them say they are difficult to live with.
|
|
|
Post by tmann3x on Oct 23, 2016 20:31:25 GMT -5
[DING]Raymond says the answer is 5. What do you think, Bill... higher or lower?
|
|
|
Post by billmcdee on Oct 24, 2016 7:04:42 GMT -5
Hmm, that's a tough question, and a very tough answer with 5...
That being said, I'll estimate lower, since I think it's human nature to feel the other person is to blame more often than not.

Post by tmann3x on Oct 25, 2016 9:55:08 GMT -5
[DING]If I were a betting man, I would say it's a little bit higher. Let's find out who is right. Raymond says 5 and Bill says it's lower. The actual number of people who were divorced seven times or more say they have admitted that they are a difficult person to live with is-- [CLASS BELL RINGS, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Bull's eye! Five of them! Raymond... just for getting your answer exactly right, here are your ten $100 bills. Count with me-- [DINGS, DING-DING-DING, CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]100... 200... 300... 400... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... $1,000! But that's not all... To the 10 people who have participated the Audience Poll... since Raymond have gotten the answer exactly, each of you will be taking home $1,000 cash! [WILD CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Please return to your seats and thank you for taking part of that poll. Now let's return to the game. Raymond, you're looking at an 8 as your base card. Do you want to play off your 8 or change it?
