(word win cue) Wow Steve, you're picking them off fast! We go back to the board, Steve at $450, Brian nothing so far. Bryan, it's now or never. Much as I'm sure you wish you didn't have to go first Bryan, the rules say the player who is behind must do so... $250 word here. If Steve gets it, he'll win the game, the match, $250 for this word plus that $1,250 Clean Sweep Bonus jackpot too. Building off of the letter I this time, a six letter word and the clue is... (outline) The dearly departed have been known to be carried over to the other side by it. Wow, that's a mouthful! (Chuckling) You can take two tiles or solve it right now Bryan. Remember, only 8 tiles this time, 3 of them, as always, are those pesky stoppers that seem to keep dogging you.

(Game win cue) Very well done Steve! (Theme plays) Since you landed on a bonus square, you get to choose a bonus envelope, blue or pink? Incidentally on our next show, we're going to amend slightly how these envelopes work

Pink... Wow, another $2,500 for the Sprint! Making the second word of the Bonus Sprint worth $20,000!!! Bryan, those stoppers really did you in unfortunately, however, you are leaving us with one match win and a grand total of $6,200. A nice hand for Bryan Law (applause) Steve's going to join me and when we return, he'll play the Bonus Sprint for a chance at up to $22,500!

(back from commercial cue music) Frank Caliendo: And now back to Scrabble, here's Bill with today's winner! Yes indeedy! Here with our new champion Steve. $2,500 in winnings so far. I must say Bryan had the deck stacked against him, between pulling stopper after stopper and you nailing a lot of these words very fast. Let's hope you can nail these next two words fast as well. Do so, and you'll win $22,500 plus get to play our new added bonus game the Jackpot Tiles for up to $50,000 more! (canned NBC whoas) Two words here, a total of six letters to place. The sooner you solve the first word, the better off you will be with the second word, but be careful. because you get only one guess per word, and if you miss this first one, you will not qualify to play the second word, and the Jackpot Tiles game will only be worth five-thousand instead of a possible fifty grand, okay? In a moment I will read you the clue, then two letters will pop up. You can either try to solve it from the clue and the two letters that pop up, or you can select one of the two letters that pop up. Also, no stoppers in any of these words, all the letters are good. After you select a letter, one new letter will then pop in to replace the space. Solve this first word and you will win another $2,500. Solve the second word as well, and you'll win another $20,000! (NBC canned whoas again) Any questions before we get started Steve?

Place all of them before offering a solution is a very strong suggestion I would offer to you now. Seven letter word, the clue is... Things can heat up there in a hurry. Ready? Go!
