Legendary announcer Don Pardo passed away yesterday in his sleep at age 96.
He was an outstanding announcer on the original version of "The Price is Right" hosted by Bill Cullen, "Three on a Match" also hosted by Bill, "Jeopardy!" with Art Fleming, and of course "Saturday Night Live".
I have dedicated the current "Three on a Match" episode that I am doing in Don Pardo's memory.
Condolences to his family and friends, and to us too, game show fans who knew, loved, and in my own case, grew up on his legendary voice.
