Second Chance is about to start again. Bryan Law has won three straight games and $36,761. We're now seeking his next two challengers. You could be one of them if you're one of the two people who come the closest to the right answer to this question. In the interest of spreading the virtual wealth, we ask all who've been defeated by Bryan in previous episodes to sit this one out.
Here's the question.
On February 27, 2012, at 8:30am Central, we watched a GSN rerun of "Family Feud". Two members of the winning family did not reach the goal of 200 points in Fast Money. Their consolation prize was how much? Please respond in increments of $5.
This game operates on 24-hour deadlines. Please PM me your answer and specify you're qualifying for Second Chance.

Okie, let's see the right answer...
...$690. Now we only had one response in qualifying. $765 palmer7
Greg Palmer, let's see where the randomizer has you...
[ GREG ] [ BRYAN ] [ThisCouldBeU] < < > > < < > > < < > > [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
Player 1. Bryan's going to be in the middle. Who's on the end? Next one to respond's in. (And don't worry. Scoreboard and podia in "eye candy" form will be back.)

Thanks, Jon. Time to take chances and even second chances after a word from our ABC stations.
KGO SAN FRANCISCO/OAKLAND/SAN JOSE Staff announcer: ABC 7 News -- where you live. (opening theme) (camera takes wide shot of studio -- eventually zooming in on big board) Doc Holiday: Hollywood's most exciting game is back -- bigger and better than ever. It's time to go for big bucks on the all new... ...Second Chance! (audience cheers)And now here's our host -- who gives everyone a second chance -- Doug Morris! (audience cheers)Thanks, Doc. Helloooo, everybody. Welcome to Second Chance -- where you could spin your way to big payoffs. Our champion's definitely hit those big payoffs in the time he's been with us. With three wins and $36,761, we welcome back Bryan Law. (audience cheers)Challenging him today are Greg Palmer and Jon Darrall. Warmest welcomes to our show, everybody -- and good luck. You will definitely need it. We start our first round; it's a little something the cool kids call Around the Horn. We make three trips around the horn in this round -- with the first trip going straight down the line from left to right -- or from Greg to Jon. (board spins)When it's your turn, you may take the first of two spins on our big Second Chance game board. It's loaded with thousands of dollars in cash plus surprises. Those surprises come courtesy of the chance spaces, represented by question marks. On the first spin -- your assured of making money. And all you have to do to make money is hit your button and say -- STOP! (ding)In my case, I just won $800. Now, if this were you, you'd have the choice of ending your turn and taking the money -- or declining the money for the final spin of your turn. That's the second chance in this part of the game. (board spins)If you do take a second chance in this round, it *does* come with a risk -- because the bust spaces will be active. Those are the ones with the dollar signs crossed out. Anytime you land on a bust space in this game -- STOP! ... (FF strike buzz)... that happens. The buzzer sounds, the red light comes on, your score will be reduced to zero dollars -- *and* you'll pick up a letter in the word "bust". Collect all four "bust" letters -- and you'll be eliminated from the game. One more thing. That bright blue "big bucks" space represents a randomly determined amount of cash which could be as little as $3000 or as much as $5000. (board spins)Greg, by random assignment, you'll start us off. So when you're ready -- stop the board. (Greg, please respond with "STOP" and a letter from A to O inclusive.)

Off to a nice lead -- but the game's just begun. Bryan's now coming up to bat. (board spins)When you're ready, stop the board. (Bryan, please respond with "STOP" and a letter from A to O inclusive.)

(ding)$575. Well -- we can put $575 in your podium -- or you can take the second chance. You'd obviously have no money at risk -- but you could end up with a bust letter against you. (audience shouts suggestions)
(Bryan, if you wish to take the second chance, please indicate same and then "STOP" with a letter from A-R.)

Bryan: That's pocket change! Roll again! (scattered cheers) Doug: Taking the second chance. Let's roll that board, please. (board spins)Doug: When you feel luckier, hit that buzzer. Bryan: STOP! (ding)(audience groans) You were destined for chump change, Bryan. Long way to go in this game as we finish this trip around the horn with Jon. (board spins)Your first spin comes without any kind of risk.
(Jon, please "STOP" the board with a letter from A-O.)

(scattered cheers) Taking a lot of money to end this first trip around the horn. Greg leading, Jon's about $500 behind. Bryan, a lot of ground to make up -- but it's still early. Next trip around the horn starts with Bryan, continues with Jon and ends with Greg. (board spins)Bryan, board's all yours.
(Bryan, please respond with "STOP" and a letter from A to O inclusive.)

(ding)$575. Well, that would bring you up to $3800 and a slim lead if you ended your turn here. If you take the second chance, you'd be risking the $3225 you currently have. Take the money or the second chance? (audience shouts suggestions)
(Jon, if you'd like the second chance, please clearly indicate same and then "STOP" with a letter from A-R inclusive.)

(buzz buzz)No decision in time. Jon, 'fraid we'll have to make an executive decision and put 575 in your coffers. And let's end this trip around the horn with Greg. (board spins)
(Greg, please "STOP" with a letter from A-O inclusive.)

(ding)Eight bills. Well, Greg, if you took the money, you'd take back the lead with one more trip around the horn to be made. Take the money or risk the 3575 you currently have on a second chance? (audience shouts suggestions)

This second trip around the horn ends about the same as the first. Greg and Jon separated by about $500 with Bryan in third. Last trip starts with Jon, continues with Greg and ends with Bryan. I will tell all three of you an "add a one" surprise is lurking somewhere among the chance spaces. Hit that and we automatically stick a 1 in front of your total -- giving you $10,000. (more cheers) (board spins)Jon, your final turn of this round starts now.
(Jon, please respond with "STOP" and a letter from A to O inclusive.)
