Ian guesses 3 passes. Is that right? (buzz) Sorry. Lenny, another chance to steal. (ding)Again, Gino Torretta played in only two NFL games -- completing how many passes? Lenny, is the right answer 4, 5 or 6?

Lenny guesses 5. Is that right? (ding; audience applause)Yes. Gino Torretta -- previously a Heisman winner. He bounced around in the pros and didn't see a lot of playing time. Lenny, another chance to wrap up playing time here in the match. (rolling sfx)Fifteen points or more clinches your third match win.

Lenny's going to try to win the match here. Let's reroll the first two dice. (freeze sfx) (rolling sfx)Again, Lenny, 15 points or more concludes matters. (ding) There's a 2. A 5 or 6 will do it. (ding) (audience groans) Oh and how cruel is this? A 6 joins the frozen 6 and the 2 for a total of -- *14*. Well -- Lenny -- if there's any good news, it's this. We still have three questions left in this game. If you win just one of them, we'll save you the trip to the dice -- because you're guaranteed more than 1 point with a right answer. Ian -- a Crag and a non-Crag 13 or a triple will amount to the comeback of the year. But you'll really have to keep Lenny away from the dice. Round 8 -- let's fill in the blank. (MG'7x stinger) (scattered cheers) Fill in the blank in this statement with an ordinal number. In the 2014 movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", Megan Fox's character's first name is also the same name of the BLANK month of the year. 73 redrangerdude 46 mastercards56 56 randomizer.org (Ian buzzes in) Ian, to stay in the match, your answer, please.

Ian says Megan's character's name is the same as the 4th month of a given year. Is that right? (ding; audience applause)Bingo. April's the fourth month of the year. April O'Neil's the character's name. (rolling sfx)All right, Ian, any 13 or any triple would be a tremendous help. (ding)Stop on a 5. (ding)Stop on a 2. (ding)And stop on another 5. Well close to that magic 13. You could take 12 points if you like. Lenny's leading 99 to 25 and we're in Round 8.

(scattered cheers) Right way to play it. (freeze sfx; rolling sfx) Center screen rerolls. You'd love a 3, you'd take a 5. (ding) (scattered groans) But you get neither -- a 1. After Round 8: 99 redrangerdude 36 mastercards56 Huh-kay, with just two questions left, Ian, you'll need to win both questions, score a Crag in one round and more than 12 in another round to force a third game in the match. Lenny, if you win one of the remaining questions, you'll be assured of surpassing the goal of 100 points. Round 9 question's about one of the 50 states in our nation. The number of counties in the state of Delaware is a single digit. How many counties are in Delaware? 36 redrangerdude 34 mastercards56 42 randomizer.org

Lenny says there are just 3 counties in Delaware. If he says right, he'll be assured of surpassing the goal of 100 points, he'll surpass the other goal of $5000 and remain as our champion. If not, Ian has a chance to steal. Are there just 3 counties in Delaware? (dings; audience applause)Yes -- and Lenny is still our champion. (noticeable pause) Folks, we've blown a fuse here in the theater. Lenny, I can assure you that before you answered that Delaware question correctly, you had 99 points. We're bypassing the dice rolls because you'd get at least 4 points out of the dice. So, final score is this game is 103 points for Lenny and 36 for Ian. In terms of a money score, Lenny collects another $2500 for a total of $6000. Ian, another $500 for you plus some fine gifts and our thanks for playing Crag: The Numbers Game. (audience cheers)Lenny, we owe you a trip to the winner's board. Our technical staff could use a break. So we're going to take that break on their behalf. When we come back, Lenny will try to win $5000 off the winner's board -- and maybe *this* time we'll give away the million. More of Crag -- after this. (WGYN theme plays; audience applauds)

Lenny Jackson has just won his third straight match. Along the way, he collected $6000. Lenny, as we thank you for your patience, we're pleased to tell you everything's back in working order. You will play Super Crag shortly. But first, we give you a chance at more money with the winner's board. The letters in the word "CRAG" hide different amounts of cash. They range from $2500 to $5000. All you have to do is pick a letter. You'll win that cash award immediately. We'll then match as seed money for the pot that you'll be trying to build on soon thereafter. Right now, please pick a letter.

Post by dougmorrisontheair on Oct 19, 2016 6:33:27 GMT -5
All right, for winning the match, you win from the letter G... (dings; audience applause)....another $3000. So -- so far today you've won $6000 and another $3000. You can do the math. I don't want to say anything to activate a certain anime clip. (scattered laughter and groans) Where was the five large, by the way? (ding)(dice girl, holding Super Crag dice and cup, enters from stage right; walking by big monitor) Other end of the board -- the C. And look who walks into our shot. (dice girl and crowd laugh) It's perfectly okay. Been a weird show already. Lenny, this is today's dice girl, Devon. She has your Super Crag dice. The dice in the cup are smaller -- but the stakes are bigger. Since you just won $3000 from the winner's board... (ding) ... we seed the pot with a different $3000. Every time you want to play Super Crag, you roll all three dice -- and if it's a safe roll, you'll win more money based on the roll's value in hundreds of dollars. All the 20-point straights are worth $2000 each, the triples $2500 each, 13 in any combination pays $2600 -- *BUT* if that combination of 13 has a pair of a particular number in it, that's a Crag for $5000. (audience cheers) (rolling sfx)As you know, you want to build up the pot to at least $10,000. Have more than 10 grand in the pot -- and you win tonight's super bonus. Now it could be as little as $30,000. It could be as high as $75,000. Let's see tonight's super payoff. (dings; audience cheers)...$56,000. But if you're really lucky and can hit $10,000 right on the nose, you win the mega bonus of $1,000,000. (audience cheers) Now -- every roll does come with a risk -- as Devon will show us. (scattered boos) Yes -- Lenny's been lucky so far to avoid the gremlin. Let's hope that continues. One number on one cube has been replaced with that gremlin. If he comes up, you lose everything in the Super Crag. So after every safe roll, I'll give you a chance to stop. You *may* stop right now, take $3000 and we'll see you tomorrow -- or you may risk everything in the pot by rolling the Super Crag dice. (audience shouts suggestions) (Lenny, if you wish to risk and roll, please respond with a number from 1-100. You'll see the result of that roll and the next few down the list so long as you have less than $10,000 in the pot, not stop the game and not roll the losing gremlin.)

He's gonna go. (audience cheers) Any straight and a Crag would do wonders. Good luck -- and give 'em a roll. (Lenny shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience applause) Dice total 8 -- times $100 means we put an additional $800 to the pot. Want to take your second roll or stop and keep $3800?

Rolling again. (audience cheers) Not counting what's in the pot, Lenny has $120,100. Risking this other $3800 is as if he's putting pocket change at risk. (scattered laughter from the crowd) Roll 'em again. (Lenny shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience applause) Another good roll. That's a nine-pointer for $900 more. Would you like to stop and keep $4700 -- or gamble this money on your third roll? (audience shouts suggestions)

Taking that third roll. (audience cheers) Let's get a big roll this time. (Lenny shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (audience applause) Heh -- that'll work. Seven points for $700 more. Pot's up to $5400. Lenny, with the low rolls, I should point this out. If you haven't won or lost the Super Crag after seven rolls of the dice, the stakes double. That would mean the 20 points straights are worth $4000 each and a Crag pays $10,000 and basically gives you an automatic win. (scattered cheers) But that's a bit down the road. Right now, want to keep the $5400 or risk the money on your fourth roll? (audience shouts suggestions)

Gonna go again. (audience cheers) Ya know, a low roll of 4, 1 and 1 would hit the spot -- because then a couple of straights would win the million. So -- good luck and give 'em a roll. (Lenny shakes up bucket; pours dice down ramp) (dings; alarm sounds; audience cheers; win music plays) Crag! A Crag puts you over the top. Doesn't give you the million -- but it does pay $56,000 and you keep this money in the pot. A $66,400 round of Super Crag. (audience cheers) For a man who says he hasn't had a lot of luck playing dice games, you're sure making up for that here in Super Crag. I've honestly lost count. But this definitely was a four-roll bonus game. The previous games had to have been about five or six rolls each. So -- let's just say Lenny here has rolled the dice sixteen times. Lenny, you've *really* defied the odds. In the times you've rolled the dice -- you've always won money and you ended up winning the Super Bonus. (audience cheers) The odds are one in six that the rotten gremlin will come up on a particular roll. Save for the dice girl showing the gremlin to the camera before we get goin', you haven't seen the gremlin. (audience cheers)

(various crowd shots; audience cheers) (back to Doug, Devon and Lenny) We've crunched the numbers, Lenny -- and we're extremely pleased to tell you that you're winning... (audience cheers) You continue your march to that Aston Martin. The gas card that goes with the car will be worth $175,000. You keep the winning streak going -- and there's a *really* good chance you be our all time champion. So far, Marc Enyedy is the biggest winner in Crag history with $656,950. Lenny, if you continue to pick up big wins, you should be near that total -- or maybe even surpass it. When we return, we'll give someone in the audience a chance to win -- here on Crag: The Numbers Game. Stay with us. (WGYN theme plays; audience applause) [NOTE FROM DOUG: I'm preparing said audience game as I type this -- while also juggling extra professional responsibility. When the game's ready, we'll proceed further. Thanks for your patience.]

We've got time to spare for an audience game. To make up for some lost time, we'll bypass qualifying and simply ask -- who wants to play? First one to respond who hasn't played in this episode gets to play.

Well -- before you can host a game, you've got to win this game. And if you do -- you win this prize. (prize cue)Doug: (in pre-recorded audio) It's a diamond necklace. (audience cheers) This necklace comes with a pear-shaped emerald surrounded by sparkling diamonds. Yours with a gift card from Service Merchandise worth -- $5000. (audience cheers)And just in case jewelry's not your thing, you can get something nice with that gift card. Hunter, we have you where the main game players stand -- because you're going to try to roll a Crag with the big dice. We're going to give you three rolls of the Crag dice instead of two. Anytime the dice total 13 and you have a pair of a particular number is in that combination, you win the $5000 card. Now, just so we're clear... (ding)...a pair of sixes and a one make a Crag. (ding)A pair of fives and a three also make a Crag. (ding)A pair of fours with a five also make a Crag. As in the main game, it doesn't matter how the numbers appear on the board. Just as long as you have a pair of something and an odd number adding up to 13, it's a win. If you don't make a Crag, we'll give you a consolation prize of $500 from Service Merchandise. (rolling sfx)There go the dice. Hunter, when you feel lucky, hit that button three times to stop the roll. (Hunter, as with the main game, please respond in this thread with three letters from A to F. You may repeat letters if you think that will help.)
