Friday, September 2nd & Labor Day Weekend

At 1pm on Friday, I'm having oral surgery done.  Odds are I'm not going to feel much like net game activity when I get home from the procedure.  Maybe I will, but probably not.

I intentionally scheduled this for Sept 2nd so I would have a three day weekend to recuperate before returning to work on Tuesday, Sept. 6th.

On a personal note, Sept 6th would have been my grandmother Catherine's 100th birthday.  She passed in early January 1990 at the age of 73.  She had a love of word puzzles.  She often did crosswords and the fill-ins.  She got me hooked on the fill-ins back in the day.  Often as a youth she would act as a contestant for me for "Wheel of Fortune".  She always called it the "block" game since the letters on the TV show back in the 70s and 80s were the trilon "blocks".

Anyway, my time online over the holiday weekend may be limited depending on how I am feeling.

After some Percocet, I have no pain, but due to the loss of blood, I am somewhat woozy and light-headed.

That being said, I woke up around 3am feeling a tad hungry so I had a little something soft to eat, and decided to pop on here for a spell.

I'll be updating the games I am appearing on, then more than likely heading back to the old sofa for more shut-eye.

Thanks for your support and well wishes.  I asked the doctor for the extracted tooth back, in the hopes that I could place it under my pillow last night and have the Tooth Fairy reimburse me for my co-pay
