Welcome back Matt. We will start later today.
EDIT: Actually, we won't be starting today. I just out via FB that Matt's grandmother has passed away. Therefore, it will now be a few extra days before we can start this episode.

All right, after having to delay the start of this episode twice because of Matt's vacation and his grandmother passing away, we are finally ready to begin. All deadlines are 48 hours and here we go. (cue intro) Rich: And now, a game of high stakes! Where every decision is a gamble and every move could be your last. High Rollers! (1987 main theme) And here's the man with all the action, Mark Liotta! (I come out to a tremendous applause from the audience) Me: Thank you Rich. And thank you, audience. (Theme fades out) Welcome once again to the game of skill, strategy and those unpredictable dice that we call High Rollers. Our champ's taken us for a lot of money over the last two days, but has not been able to come up with a $25,000 win in the Big Numbers. Hopefully that'll change today. But we can't play unless we know who our contestants are, so we'll find out right now from Rich who we have today. Rich: Our returning champion is a supermarket clerk from Council Bluffs, Iowa. Please welcome back Matt Riggenberg, who has a two day total of $71,340 cash and prizes. And challenging Matt today is Billy Gardell. Me: Welcome aboard here, Billy. Tell the folks at home a little bit about yourself.

Well maybe you can win some money to get plenty of cheeseburgers. Good luck to you in today's match, Billy. Let's find out about some prizes that you guys could take home in this first game. Rich: In column one, it's a tour of Europe! You and a guest will enjoy a tour throughout Europe starting in Portugal and ending in Finland. During the tour, you'll see some of Europe's great sights such as Stonehenge, the Eiffel Tower and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Total value: $13,840. In column two, a leather sofa. This reclining leather sofa includes five seats, sofa and chair. Retail value: $3,500. And in column three, $10,000 in cash! The total value of game one's board comes out to $27,340! Me: Okay, here come the nine numbers onto the board.
4 7 3 2 5 9 6 8 1
Hot column is column one and here's the first question of this match. Which major city is located at the meeting place of Europe and Asia?

And here comes the next question. He was born in 1914, made his film acting debut in 1941 and appeared in more than 50 films. He won the 1953 Academy Award as best male supporting actor for his work in a war film. He was also an accomplished singer. Who was he?
