Bryan Law is returning for his third day, having won a whopping $96,844. I need two players to challenge him. Who's in?

*theme starts up* George Gray: Today, these three players are after hiiiiiigh stakes! BUT, they'll have to avoid the Whammy as they play the most exciting game of their lives! From Net Game Central in cyberspace, it's time to PRESS! YOUR! LUCK! *cheers and applause* And now, here is your host, the star of Press Your Luck, Kevin Kolsen! Me: Hi, everybody! Thank you, George! Welcome one and all to Press Your Luck! This is the show where you need to have a great sense of timing and guts to win big and outsmart the Whammy. We're going to start by meeting our three contestants. Let's start with Matt Riggenberg. I hear you're going to Worlds of Fun soon. Have you been there before and what's it like if you have?

That's great, hope you have fun there and I wish you luck here as well. Let's welcome Kourtney Wilson to the show, too. Did you do anything exciting this summer?

Well, I rode on a passenger train for the first time in my life. It was a bit interesting especially when you are riding at night. Not the easy way but it's a cool way to get around.

It sure can be. I'm glad you had that experience and I hope you do well today. You may do as well as our returning champion Bryan Law. He's won two games and $96,844 in cash and prizes.
*cheers and applause*
Any plans for the cash you've won yet, Bryan?

Always good to get that out of the way. A good majority of what you won is cash after all.
Let's talk about the rules here on Press Your Luck. I'm about to ask you four questions and by answering them, you'll earn spins on our game board behind you. It's loaded with tons of cash, lots of prizes and even a few surprises. Whenever you stop the board like I'm about to do...
STOP!
$3,000
You can win money like I just did, another $3,000 for me. However, you'll want to be careful of one space on that board. See that little red furry creature? That's the Whammy and if you land on him, he'll rob you of your score and bring you down to $0. Four Whammies and you're out of the game. Hands on your buzzers, please, because now we're going to see how many spins the three of you can come up with. Question #1:
"What is the northernmost Ivy League school?"
(To activate your buzzers, PM me a buzz code from 1-100. If you wish to pass, PM the word "Pass" to me.)

BUZZ: 68 1st: Bryan (42) 2nd: Kourtney (16) Matt: Pass Bryan, what's your answer? Bryan's answer is Harvard. If he's right, he picks up three spins. Matt and Kourtney, I'll give this to you in multiple choice for one spin. Is the northernmost Ivy League school... HARVARDCORNELLDARTMOUTH

The northernmost Ivy League school is not Harvard; it's Dartmouth in New Hampshire. HARVARDCORNELLDARTMOUTHShake it off, you three, you all still have more chances to earn some spins. We'll try again with our next question: "The Chicago Cubs last won the World Series in 1908. Who did they defeat in the World Series that year?"

While we're waiting for Bryan and Kourtney to send in their codes, this game will be on hold to accommodate Matt's absence until next Friday.

They defeated this team twice, actually. In 1907 and 1908, the Cubs made it to the World Series and defeated the Detroit Tigers both times. BOSTON RED SOXCHICAGO WHITE SOXDETROIT TIGERSYou know what that means. Two questions, no spins. We'll put another question out there for the three of you: "You may need to stock up on Ticonderogas for the upcoming school year. What kind of school supply is a Ticonderoga?"

Matt goes to three since he buzzes in and Kourtney and Bryan now have one apiece. This is the fourth and final question: "What is the only Canadian province that borders the Great Lakes?"
