OK... [DING]50 out of 100 say waiting until their father gets home is worse? Higher or lower, Bill?

I remember as a youth my mom saying that to me, and it struck big time fear. Definitely higher!

[DiNG]Sam says 50 and Bill says it's higher... The actual number of third graders say waiting until their father gets home is worse is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]67. Bill is correct... it is higher. You're looking at an 8 as your base card, Bill. Do you want to play this card or change it?

Still a pretty good card, I'll say higher again, Tony.

If it's higher, you win the first game of the match. Higher than a 5...? [BUZZER, AUDIENCE GROANS]No... it's a 2. Sam, you get a free chance to call on your 3.

Freeze.

And we'll move Sam's freeze bar. Bill still has a one card advantage over his challenger. Question 3 coming right up. *grabs card* Bill... we've asked 100 pregnant women-- Was this pregnancy a surprise? How many of them say their pregnancy was a surprise?

Oh wow. Some plan on having a child, some who have had several end up pregnant again unexpectedly. I guess it depends on if they already have children to begin with.
I'll say 42 said it was a surprise.

[DING]42 out of 100 say their pregnancy was a surprise. What do you think, Sam... higher or lower?

Higher.

Any reasons why you think the answer is higher, Sam?

Most women would test their pregnancy and most of the time, they didn't expect the results were right.

OK then... [DING]If I was a betting man, I would say higher too. Let's see if your guess is as good as Sam's answer. Bill says 42 and Sam says it's higher... The actual number of pregnant women say their pregnancy was a surprise is-- [DING-DING-DING, APPLAUSE]83. Sam's right... it is higher. Sam, do you want to play on your 6 or change it?

Freeze!

Post by tmann3x on Aug 29, 2016 17:03:16 GMT -5
Moving the freeze bar for Sam... and we are looking at a very tight game in this round. Both Sam and Bill need two cards for the win. *grabs card* Fourth and final question mean it's time for... Audience: Sudden Death! [CHEERS AND APPLAUSE]Tony: That's right, folks. Someone has to win it on the next play of the cards. Sam... we've asked 100 marriage counselors-- If a couple signs a prenuptial agreement, are they more likely to divorce? How many of them say they are more likely to divorce after the couple signs a prenuptial agreement?

Because, the word 'prenuptial' might be something to do with marriage....

That's a very tricky question and also a tough number...
Still, I think it would be lower, since the question asks if marriage counselors think it is MORE likely for a marriage to end in divorce. I don't think 65 out of 100 would think that, so I'll reason that it is lower.
