Lenny's answer "Over 65." And that is correct! (applause) She is actually 67 as of this moment, hard to believe. Lenny has elected to keep the next card. If it so happens to be an Ace, you're going to win $6,500. Manuela, what's Lenny's next card please? (groans in the audience) A nasty card, a 5. Lenny you may freeze at this point, which would force your opponent to have to get at least 2 questions in a row correct, and protect yourself from the possibility of going over 21, or you can continue playing. Remember, if you elect to continue, you will not get to freeze again until you receive another card. With that in mind Lenny, what will your gambit be here, freeze or continue?

Oh my! Gutsy call. Good luck!
Next toss-up question for control of the next card...
Time to get out the calamine lotion. Here's a question about a couple of Ivy League schools. Harvard or Yale. Which one is the oldest?
Please P.M. to me three things players...
1 - Your Buzz code from 1-100 inclusive 2 - Your answer 3 - If you wish to keep or pass the next card

Matt was closer to the buzz code by default, as I never received a code from Lenny. Matt's answer - Harvard. And that is correct! Matt has elected to pass this next card to Lenny. Lenny, if this is a 6, you will win $1,000 for the game plus the $5,500 Any 21 Jackpot. If it's a 7 or more, Matt will take game number one and $1,000. If it's a 5 or less, you'll have the option to freeze or continue. Manuela, what is the next card please? (audience gasps) Whoa! Hello!!! Lenny, that gives you a 20. You want to freeze?

Matt, the pressure is on, but if you can get 21, you'll win $6,500. To earn cards though, you must answer questions correctly. Here's your first... True or False George Washington never spent a single day inside The White House.

That is the cereal! (applause) I should start having them again to help me wake up better in the a.m. But here it is PM, Gambit PM and Matt earned another card... That gives you 10 Matt... You are hoping for an Ace for the win. But must earn it... Your wife asks you to retrieve her jaconet Does she want you to bring to her a cloth, a brush, or a broomstick?

Well done! (applause) An Ace will give you the win. Manuela, what's the next card please? TWENTY-ONE!!! picosong.com/4U4j/Unbelievable!!! Matt Ringgenberg has just proven two things. One, he'll make a very fine husband to a lovely lady since most men wouldn't know what a jaconet is. Heck I don't even know what a CLOTH is! And two, he makes one amazing Gambit PM Player. Matt, $1,000 for that win, plus the Any 21 Jackpot which you just broke for $5,500. $6,500 for this game, and so far a grand total, all in cash no less, of $31,000!!!! (cheering & applause) Lenny, that was indeed a tough tough break for you. 20 wins more times than not. But take heart, as it is the best 2 out of 3 game match. Manuela's going to clear the board, we're going to reset the Any 21 Jackpot, and catch our collective breath here. Back after these words! (Back after or perhaps on Sept 2nd when Matt returns from his vacation. I'll put this game on hold until you check back in Matt.)

Matt Ringgenberg just posted in the vacation thread of the passing of his 88 year old grandmother. I again express my deepest condolences to he and his family during this difficult time of transition. I reached out to him in that thread and asked him if he needs me to temporarily postpone any games of mine in which he is involved. Most understandable if the answer is yes.

Our source on Gambit PM for a lot of the questions we ask is the twenty-two volume World Book Encyclopedia, including the research guide and index volume. Let's reset the Any 21 Jackpot since it was won during our last game. It's currently worth... (CLANG) $5,000. Manuela, please show us the first card for Game 2 of this match. (cheers & applause) Well look at that! It's one of the two Jokers mixed in our deck. This means we immediately add $500 to the Any 21 Jackpot. (CLANG) Now it's up to $5,500. Whoever wins this next toss-up question will receive a $500 cash bonus as well. Manuela, let's see the next card please... Shootin' for a five this time players... San Francisco, San Diego or San Jose Which California city does Major League Baseball's Padres call home? (((Players, please submit your buzz codes to me from 1-100 inclusive no later than Tuesday, September 6th at 3pm Eastern Standard Time, USA.)))
