(prize cue) Dean: (VO) Every key on this keyboard is a 72 x 72 pixel screen that displays any image or icon for personalizing shortcuts and keyboard commands. An LCD inside the keyboard converts all 77 keys into 1/2" x 1/2" displays that render up to 262,144 colors. The included software allows you to assign an image of your favorite golfer to the key that controls a golf swing in a video game or an image of Einstein for a key that launches an oft-used custom Excel macro. A key can also be set to connect to an email account and display how many unread emails you have. It's compatible with Windows XP or higher or Mac OS X 10.8 or higher and plugs into a USB port. I wouldn't mind having this myself! Furnished by Hammacher Schlemmer. It's worth $2,000! That makes the total value of the board $20,448!

And now, it's time to load in the numbers... [DRUM SOLO...] Hot column for today is column 2. A roll of a 10 gets the platinum coin and a trip to Edmonton worth over 11 grand. Matt and Clement... here comes the first question. Scorpio, Aries, or Taurus-- What is the first astrological sign in the Zodiac?*You have 24 hours to PM your Buzz-code between 1 and 100.

Buzz-code answer: 77 1st: CLEMENT (49) 2nd: MATT (19) (buzz-in)Clement...? Clement: Aries. Tony: Aries is correct. (applause)Here's your dice. Whenever you're ready, roll it. *Clement rolls dice* It's an 11. Which of the these number do you want to get rid of, Monsieur Couvreur?

Is there a bonus for clearing the Hot column? If yes, 9 and 2, if not, 6 and 5.

Is there a bonus for clearing the Hot column? If yes, 9 and 2, if not, 6 and 5. The hot column is column 2 with a roll of a 10. You've only rolled an 11. Which of these numbers do you want to get rid of?
|
|
|
Post by CCSCO on Aug 12, 2014 17:18:29 GMT -5
I know I cannot clear it at once with this roll.
If there's a bonus, I'd want to keep the hot column intact to have a chance to claim that bonus later.
If there's no bonus, I don't care about keeping it.
Oh, it doesn't matter. 5, 3, 2 and 1 please.

Out goes 1, 2, 3, and 5. (ding-ding-ding-ding)That leaves out the 7 in column 2 and 6 in column 3. Next question... Baddest, Even Worse, or Badder-- What did "Weird Al" Yankovic call his album that contained a parody of a song from Michael Jackson's album BAD?

The correct answer was EVEN WORSE. Matt has control of the dice. The bad rolls are 2, 3, and 5. Do you want to roll or pass the dice to Clement?

Roll Them.

|
|
Post by tmann3x on Aug 14, 2014 21:15:05 GMT -5
OK then, Matt... just stay away from 2, 3, and 5. Roll the dice. *Matt rolls dice* It's a 10. So that means we'll have to eliminate the 4 and 6. (ding-ding)(winning bell sounds, cheers and applause) Matt... the only way for you to win a keyboard for your home computer, you must win this round. Next question coming right up... Ericsson Stadium, Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, or Sun Devil Stadium-- In what 73,250-seat grass stadium have the Carolina Panthers played home games since 1996?

Ericcson Stadium is the correct answer. (applause)The good rolls are 7, 8, and 9. Do you want to roll or pass the dice to Clement?

I'm going to pass them.

Post by tmann3x on Aug 17, 2014 11:35:45 GMT -5
Clement, he's passing the dice to you. If you roll a 7, you'll clear column 2. Roll a 7, 8, or 9 to stay in the game. Roll 'em. *Clement rolls dice* (buzzer sounds)Aw... it's a 6. So that means Matt wins round 1 and a $2,000 PC keyboard! (win cue, cheers and applause)If Matt wins the next round, he'll go for $100,000 once again playing the Big Numbers. Coming up after the break, we'll throw in another prize in column 1 and a new prize in column 3 which could be worth over 10 grand. The New High Rollers is coming right back after this on USA. Stick around, folks... (main theme)(cheers and applause)*fade to commercial*

*back to studio* (cheers and applause)Welcome back to The New High Rollers. At the end of round 1, our champion Matt have won the first game of the match including a keyboard for his home computer. Our challenger Clement haven't won a single game yet. There's still a chance to tie the game as we go now to our second round. The numbers are all cleared up during the commercial break. The platinum coin and a trip to Edmonton are still on the board... over 11 grand in prizes. And along with the area rug and a baby grand digital piano, here's what we're adding in column 1. Dean...?
