Of course you're going to say higher, and unless it's another 2, you get to continue. What's the next card, please?
(3 ♣)
ding!
It's a 3! Now you're just one card away from the Money Cards, so are you going to continue or freeze?

If this is higher than a 3, you are the new champion. Otherwise, mringgenberg stays alive. For the win, is it higher than a 3, Amber?
(Q ♣)
ding-ding-ding!
(1978 CS Win Cue)
Yes it is, and you're moving on to the Money Cards round! But mringgenberg has nothing to be ashamed of, as he adds $1,000 to his winnings, which comes out to a two-day total of $28,000. Thanks for playing, and hopefully we'll see you again. (1978 CS Theme) Now when we come back, we'll see what slrcatchphrase will get in the Money Cards round. Stay right there; we're coming back right after this.

Welcome back to Card Sharks, where we're about to begin our Money Cards round with slrcatchphrase! Now the $2,000 that you had won earlier will now be guaranteed money, and you will come back to play on our next show. Right now, let's add some more cash with these cards. You will start off with $500 in betting money, and you can risk any amount you wish on the next card, but in the Big Bet, you must bet at least half of what you have at that point. You also have the option to change the base card on each row. So without further ado, let's see the first card.
(Q ♠)
It's a Queen! Are you going to play that or change it?

Play it, hmm. There's a 3 in 11 chance: 1. It could be a king or ace or 2. Another Queen. So I'll bet half the total,
so $250, lower!

For $750, is it lower than a Queen?
(J ♥)
ding!
Yes, you got it! Now what's your next bet?

(8 ♠)

Right again! And what is your bet on that?

For $1,050, is it lower than an 8?
(4 ♥)
ding!
Yes, it's a 4! And we move that 4 to the next row, and add $1,000 to your bank, so you now have $2,050 to bet with. Would you like to change the 4 or play it now?

You got it again! One more card stands between you and the Big Bet, so what's your bet now?

For $4,650, is it lower than a Queen?
(6 ♠)
ding!
It's a 6, and we move that to the final row. As this is the Big Bet, you must bet at least half of what you have now, and that is $2,325. But before you continue, I will give you one last chance to change the 6 you have there. So what would you like to do now?

So you're betting all of it lower; that's interesting! If this last card is lower than a Queen, you will win $9,300; if not, you will suffer a heartbreaking bust. So we need this to be lower, and I think the audience should help as Amber prepares to flip it. When I say three, you say "Lower, lower..." just like that. Ready? 1, 2, 3... (audience chants "Lower, lower, lower, lower!") Now what is it, Amber?
(2 ♠)
ding-ding-ding!
(1978 CS Win Cue)
You've just won $9,300 in the Money Cards round, and when we add the $2,000 guaranteed cash you had won earlier, you will end up with $11,300 on your first day, and you will come back to face a new challenger on the next show. (1978 CS Theme) Well, that's it for today's edition of Card Sharks. I'm Bill Skinner, saying thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time. For now, though, so long, everybody!
