I could make the obvious rap group joke here, but I won't. Have to have some decency, you know (laughter). Already got groaned at once.
In any event, I think the answer is BLACK SABBATH.

Given the time period, and seeing as he pretty much invented everything else...I'd say it's Thomas Edison

Welcome back to the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour. Round 1 is already in the books on The Hollywood Squares. Our champion Matt is in the lead with $2,000 while our challenger David has only $250. Round 2 is worth $2,000 this time... but it's also our Secret Square game. If one of you selects a Secret Square and get the question right, you'll be taking home a spectacular prize package. In past episodes, we have a fantastic trip to Klang, Malaysia worth $14,050. And then, we have a trip to New York City worth $7,650. And finally, we have a trip to Toronto, Ontario, Canada valued at $9,298. And now, we're gonna make television history. We have never offered a Secret Square prize that's worth over $30,000 in price. That is until now. In addition to the three trips, we are also adding this prize. And to announce it, let's head on over to Shadoe at the back lot of The Burbank Studios to see a prize that I'm sure your minds are gonna be blown. Shadoe...?

(cheers and applause)Greg Palmer, co-executive producer of this broadcast. Greg-- What TV show did "Mork and Mindy" spin off from?
|
|
|
Post by palmer7 on Jul 3, 2016 14:10:07 GMT -5
Well, it's rather serendipitous that you mention that I'm co-executive producer because one of the EPs of "Mork and Mindy" is Garry Marshall. Mork first appeared on an episode of "Happy Days", and that is where the show is spun off from.

Hmmm -- well we can rule out Piggly Wiggly and Walmart.

And I probably need to stop with the proper nouns in that regard and say she went shopping at a lingerie retailer.
