I'm in the process of getting things prepared for our next episode. Working on a lot of visuals and many other items so it may be a bit.
Meantime I want to show you what's in progress with the Gambit Board:
I'll be adding a couple more things to it perhaps.
Here's a sample of a fully revealed Gambit Board:
A new deck of 52 cards will be used at the Gambit Board. 21 in any combination at the Gambit Board will win the Any 21 Jackpot which starts at $10,000 and grows by $2,500 each time it is not won.
Working our way from the upper left, we see number 1 has a Power Chip. It also says "PICK AGAIN". That chip is good to get rid of a card that the player doesn't want in his/her hand during the bonus game.
Number 2 and number 18 each contain the right half of a check. Number 12 is the left half of a $5,000 check. Match that up with a right half and win $5,000 cash if you don't go over 21. Number 20 on the board has the left half of a $20,000 check, however, in order to win $20,000, the player has to have a hand totaling 18 or better, without going over 21. Half checks may not be carried over, however, after one half a check is picked, the player does get to call out another number.
Number 3 is a merchandise prize. Numbers 7, 8, 17 and 21 also have those.
Number 4 is a mini-game "Beat the Dealer". It's played for a flat $5,000. After the Gambit Board game ends, if the contestant did not go over 21, they get to play one standard hand of Blackjack against the dealer. If the contestant gets 21, or beats the dealer or ties the dealer, they will win $5,000 cash. If the dealer beats the player, or if the player goes over 21, then the contestant wins no extra bonus cash. A new set of 52 cards will be used for Beat the Dealer when it is played.
Number 5 and number 13 each have Plus $2,500 Any 21. That simply means $2,500 will be added immediately to the Any 21 Jackpot and will remain in there until it is won. If either of those are picked, the contestant gets to call out another number.
Numbers 6, 9, 10 and 19 are the four suit cards. $2,500 in cash is won instantly with each of those, plus another $2,500 in cash for every card the player has in their hand that matches that suit, as long as they do not go over 21.
Number 11 is the car card. If that is picked and the player gets 21 in any combination, they will win the car.
Number 14 is a picture of a passport, and that represents a trip somewhere outside the United States and its territories.
Number 15 is the "See The U.S.A." card, and represents a domestic trip somewhere in the United States and its territories.
Number 16 is the good old "Take Two" card. If you pick it, you get to pick out 2 other numbers right away. If one of the numbers selected allows a player to pick again, they can do so without it counting toward one of the 2 selections allowed.
The Gambit Board will be played like the 1972-76 version on CBS. A player will pick a number (or numbers depending on what is selected), and then receive a card for their hand, and they may freeze once they reach 12 or more.
