Deal or No Deal is back for a new season on NBC. Its the show where luck, determination, and nerve could award our contestants up to $5,000,000 in cash. We will have a preliminary draw to determine which player gets a chance to come on stage and go for the big bucks. All you'll have to do is select a number between 000 and 999. Random.org will determine the winning sequence, and whomever is closest will get to play the game for this episode. The game will be the typical 26 cases to choose from. After each round the bank will send an offer to buy back the case in play. In round one a contestant will choose 7 cases. In round two :: 6 cases. In round three ::5 cases. In round four :: 3 cases In round five :: 2 cases In round six :: 1 case After the offer for round six, if the player calls "No Deal" they will have the option to swap their case for the one remaining if one of the top 7 values is still in play The board for the opening show looks like this:

V/O Chicago Fire will not be seen tonight. So that we may bring you this NBC Special Presentation
Joe Cipriano:26 cases. Each holding a different amount of money from $1 to $5,000,000. It's the game of luck and nerve. And now from our studios in Hollywood...It's the return of the international hit TV game show...DEAL OR NO DEAL!
And here's your host...STEVE ANDERSON!
Welcome to Deal or No Deal. Before we begin I want to say that its an honor to be back with you on NBC. I hope you will enjoy this series as much as we enjoy bringing it to you each week. Our studio audience has no idea who is going to be selected. We asked each member of the audience to fill out a card, and subject to NBC Compliances and Practices placed each in a drum. I'm now going to select the name of the person (reaches in) who's going to play the game......RAYMOND WEAVER! (Contestant intro plays as Ray runs up to the stage) Welcome to the show. Tell all the world a bit about yourself

Hopefully your bills will be history after tonight. In order to do this we need cases.26 of them. I don't have them yet, but with two words, that will change
Ladies, Please.
(26 models come out to stage, each holding a case numbered 1-26 to rousing applause)
26 cases Raymond, nobody knows what's in which case. One of those case I will tell you is holding $5,000,000 and the others have amounts all the way down to $1. Your destiny for this game is at hand. Choose your case

15 it is (Kayla brings case 15 to center stage and sets it on the stand.)
You know how we play the game. You choose cases, whats in those cases is not in your case. The more low value cases you pick, the better the odds to winning a large prize. We begin round 1 by choosing 7 cases at once, then we'll reveal them in the order you chose them.

8 is Belinda's case....open it! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Downward shuffle sfx] That's not how we wanted to begin the game, Ray. $2,000,000 is not in your case. Good news is that $1 million and $5 Million are still in play. We go next to case 12. Chelsea has case 12. Lets hope for a low value. Open case 12 please..... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [light applause] That's a lot better. $10K is not in your case. Tanika has #24. Lets hope for the 1 dollar. Tanika, open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ding][applause] Moving in the right direction. next case is #3. Danielle's case. Keep going in the same direction and your first offer might be good. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $500. That's excellent. Let's continue with case #1. That case is held by Elaine. Elaine, Please have a low amount. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $2000 in case #1. You know that $2000 is not in your case now. You picked #7 next. That belongs to Shellie. Shellie, lets get rid of the buck. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Downward shuffle] Ouch. Well, the $500K is out of play. 2 of the top 7 are already out of business. Let's not lose a third one this early. The last case for this round is #13. That's Lindsey. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $50 grand Not bad but not good either. Let's look at the big board and the cases left in the game to review round 1 We are at the end of the round. (Phone rings) That person on the other end of the line is the banker. He is going to make an offer to buy back your case. He's going to try and buy it back for a little an amount as possible because he'd rather you left with a dollar than with millions. [Hello, you say he's a bit of a threat? You feel that this offer is generous? Alright. I'll tell him.] Your first offer, is........ . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $75,300
Your options are these. You can take the bank's offer of $75,300 for your case, or open 6 more cases. Knowing if you open smaller cases that the next offer would increase. There's a roughly 1 in four chance that you'll have at least $100,000 in your case. roughly 1 in 10 that you are a millionaire. The question at hand. Raymond Weaver. $75,300. Deal, or no deal?
(If no deal select 6 more cases)

(No deal stinger) Continuing on. We open 6 cases this round. I'd really like to see some really low numbers this round. We begin with case 2. That's Tiffanie. Open your case... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Upward ding stinger/applause] That's what we want to see in this game, Raymond. Five Bucks! Let's keep that momentum going.Let's go on to case #11. That case is held by Rachael. Rachael, show us a dollar. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . FANTASTIC! [Applause] Two good ones in a row. Keep it up! From 11, we go to 21. That's Robin's case. Robin, open your case.... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Downward Shuffle] Oooh. Raymond that's not good to see now. I suppose we should be happy that there are 4 higher amounts still in play. But we want to make it out of this round with them still intact, The destination is case 16. That's Ashleigh's case. Ashleigh, keep it low. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Upward ding stinger][Applause] Much better! Three super low amounts this round so far. Let's make it four. From 16 we go to number nine. Number Nine. Number Nine (Laughs) I have to get that line in sometime tonight. Number nine belongs to Meghan. Meghan, Let's see the 1 or the 10 now, Raymond would love that now. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . That's just fine. Raymond, I'm sure $5000 is not what you want to take home. 4 top amounts still in play, I can almost assure you that your next offer may be higher if this next case has a low amount. That result will be made more clear with the opening of case #14. Yolanda has that case. Yolanda, Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . That round was nearly flawless! Let's look at the board!

[Howdy, you're getting worried, he should take this offer? Okaaay!] You've got an approximately 1 in 4 shot of winning at least $250K. 7 small amounts still on the board. There runs the risk of only having $20,000 to play for after this upcoming round should you not take the deal. Here's your offer: $135,900Should you play on, you'll select 5 cases. Raymond Weaver, $135,900. Deal? or No Deal?

Continuing then. No deal (no deal music) On to case 17, that's Delvene. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Applause] Excellent! Case 23 is next. That's Charlotte. Show us a dollar. Open your case . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [three note $1 stinger][Applause] AMAZING!!!![More applause] There goes the buck. The buck is gone. The odds are getting more and more in your favor. Three more cases left in this round Your next case was #19. That's Nancy. Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Applause] That's alright. It had to go sometime. $30,000 of the board, not in your case. Case 25 was your next selection. Amber is holding it right now. Amber, please have a low amount. Open your case . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Cheers and Applause] This round has been near perfect. 3 out of 4 choices have been in the left column. One to go. We look to case number 5. That's Manuela. We want the good vibes to close out this round as well as it started. Open your case . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [More Applause] You've had a remarkable round.The banker has to be sweating right now.

In the next round, you'd only have to open 3 cases. You have a 50/50 chance of winning at least $250000. 1 in 4 chance of winning at least a million. The bank is puuting its offer to the board now. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $493,800(People yelling suggestions)
FOUR HUNDRED NINETY THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED!!!
Raymond, I don't know what I'd do. $493,800 or 3 more cases. Deal or No Deal?

If I were you, I'd deal. The odds are better of you having $200 or less in your case than having more than half a million, and you could knock out all three of those big amounts with your next three picks.

*NO DEAL*
We will then continue with 3 more cases.
Your next case choice was #10. That case is held by Jamie. We need to get rid of the last of the 4 yellow values in order to have the best chance at $5,000,000. Jamie, open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Ouch [Audience groans]
Bad news is you don't have $750,000. Good news is you could still have $1,000,000 or $5,000,000
Your next case was #22. That's Danielle.
Please have a low amount Danielle, I fear the banker's next offer if we lose any more from the right hand-side column Open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
[Applause] Much better!! Much Much Better!!! Alright. One more case you are opening this round. That case is #6.
After this case, you'll get another offer. If you can take out another low-value case, the offer will be a lot better than if we lose another blue or silver case. Case 6 is held by Sharlene...We want to see the $25 if possible.
Sharlene, open your case. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
[ding][applause] That's Incredible! So far so good. I can't wait to hear from the banker now.

2 out of 5 chance Raymond is a millionaire. 2 out of 5 chance Raymond has $100 or less
Let's crunch the odds. There are 4 cases plus yours still in the game. That's 5 cases in total. Right now, you have a 3 in 5 chance of owning at least $250,000 in your case. You have a 2 out of 5 chance of being a millionaire. There 's also a 2 in 5 chance that you have $75 or $100 in your case. [Banker calling] [Yes, I understand. Thank you] Raymond, the banker wants me to tell you that you are his worst nightmare. To quote Mark Goodson's thoughts on Richard Dawson, You are giving him Tsuris right now. He's begging, pleading with you to take the next offer, for if you continue and choose 2 more cases, and they are both silver, the most you'd be able to win is $250,000. Here is the banker's offer...... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $672,400SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS!!! [Audience screaming suggestions] People watching us in the studio, what do you think Raymond should do?

Your Case:15Cases in Play:18,26You have shown a great deal of nerve and determination tonight. And the [Phone Rings][Hello? You feel almost resigned to your fate? Not gonna make it easy you say? Alright, thank you]The banker says, that if you want to be a millionaire tonight, you WILL have to pass up this offer. However, you'll be d***ed close to that figure. The banker is offering, for your case 15..........................$992,500 Nine Hundred Ninety-two thousand, five hundred dollars!
If you continue, and avoid picking the Five Million, the banker promised the next offer would be in the 7-figures.However, the next offer were the big banana to be split, would be approximately half the current offer. It's entirely up to you, Raymond. $992,500 or ONE more case. Deal? Or No Deal?
