In case I vanish

This morning when I turned on my computer, which is now 7 and a half years old, it was making an awful sound.  I could not access anything.  I turned it off on the tower itself, turned it back on, and it seems okay for now.

Depending on how it is, I may end up having to get it looked at, so if for some reason I "vanish" for a spell, that is why.
