Lower than the Queen for the first game?.. Yes! [Producing a bundle of £10 notes] And as promised for winning the game, £1,000 in cash! We move straight on with the 2nd game, and we start with you this time Bill. We asked 100 single mothers: If you could afford a harem of handsome men, would you want it? How many single mothers said yes, they would have a male harem if they could afford it?

If you had said single women, I would tend to think a higher number, but this is single mothers we are talking about, and any mother worth her salt would not want to raise her child or children around that kind of environment. I'm hoping it's an extremely low number, maybe 8.

Higher you say, and the number of single mothers who said they would have a harem of men if they could afford it is:*[HIGHER] *27
[8]
Some people stop at NOTHING! Alright James, you have control of the cards, and for your sake we hope it's a good card to start off with:
[Applause and general audience approval]
Can't really beat it, I assume you don't want to change it, what'll it be?

Freeze!

Post by hodders on Jun 17, 2016 6:02:17 GMT -5
And with that James freezes and gets first crack at the second question:
We asked 100 married pension-aged women: Do you still have a piece of cake from your wedding? How many said that they did?

Whew! That is a pretty low number. It probsbly got bad by then or if they remarried recently they could still have it and it would be good. But it's a pretty low number I would say about 15
Post by hodders on Jun 19, 2016 9:50:43 GMT -5
And we put 15 on the board, Bill, what do you think?
Post by billmcdee on Jun 19, 2016 10:19:01 GMT -5
That's a tricky question, since some of these pension-aged women might have just been married recently.
That being said, I will still say it's lower than 15.

As you were, and the number of women who said they still had a piece of their wedding cake is..:
15
*LOWER*
[3]
And so we come to your first shot at this game Bill, and we have:
A middle card, what's it to be?
Post by billmcdee on Jun 20, 2016 12:05:48 GMT -5
Let's change that card please, an 8 is as rotten as a 45 year old piece of wedding cake

And that 8 will become: [Audience Groans] Well that's no better but you have no choice now.
Post by billmcdee on Jun 20, 2016 14:55:08 GMT -5
Well not much better, I'll play the odds and say the next card will be higher.
Post by hodders on Jun 21, 2016 5:22:00 GMT -5
Higher than a 7?.. [Further Oohs and Groans] And that definitely isn't better, what's it to be?

We seem to be getting all of the middle cards right now! We go to James for the 3rd question of this 2nd round:
We asked 100 men in Rome: Would you consider marrying a women only for her money? How many of those men said si?

Whew! I think that's a pretty low number there. Marrying for money will not make you a bit happy. I would say 23
Post by billmcdee on Jun 26, 2016 6:28:17 GMT -5
I agree with James' reasoning and his number too, but I'll say even lower than 23, since Italian men seem to have a reputation for being romantic first and foremost, that's amore'.
Post by hodders on Jun 26, 2016 10:25:50 GMT -5
And the number of Roman Italian men who would marry a women purely for the contents of her bank account is:
23
*LOWER *
[22]
Well how about that!? Just scraping it Bill, I imagine you want to change that 8?
