After a period of essentially netgame semi-retirement, thought I'd return with probably the best known Card Sharks export known to man. Essentially the same as the 2002-2003 version, £1,000 per game won and still best of 3, with a maximum of £136,000 available on the Cash Cards.
So I need a few takers, anyone up for it?

Sure enough!
And if I may say so...
It's nice to see you...to see you, nice!

Do you mind if I co-host with graphics? (Like Ant & Dec's Gameshow Martahon?) If not, can I join in?

Blimey that's a turnout and a half! May just throw in the 2002 qualifier of sorts, but those who don't make it onto the show go back into the pool for next time around.

LWT Continuity Announcer: (VO) And tonight, you'll be able to see Emmerdale on ITV3 starting now. However, next on LWT, we have Sam Hodkin dealing out the hands on Play Your Cards Right.

[Applause as yours truly enters on a more HD-friendly equivalent of the 2002/2003 set]
Thank you very much, good evening and welcome to a new series of Play Your Cards Right, it's only taken 13 years, and as Samson said to Delilah, "Just a short back and sides love."
[Loud Laughter]
You can blame my writers for that gag, from the Tex Avery Joke School I can tell you. Now backstage we have 4 contestants wanting to win big, and by big I mean over £100,000 in cash and the shot at a new car.
[Audience Oohs enthusiastically]
Now in front of me I have an entire suite of cards from the 2 up to the Ace, each of our four hopefuls draws a card, and the two highest cardholders go on to the main game. So let' meet the first of our card sharks, James Greek!
[Applause] Welcome aboard James, tell us a little about yourself.

Well hopefully you can win big tonight. If you'd be so kind as to pick a card. (A number from 1-13)

[Cheers and Applause] How about it!? We've finished the qualifying game in 2 cards! So we'll have James playing Bill, and to our losers you have our commiserations. Tough! [Awws and Laughter]

Now as the leader of this pack, it makes me such a lucky Jack. And over there, they're so appealing, alright Dollys, do your dealing!
And we have Sophie Moulds dealing red cards and Holly Carpenter dealing blue. We have our dealers, our cards and our players so let's get on with it.
James and Bill, as you know the way to play the game is to work across the board calling whether each card is higher or lower than the previous one. The first to turn over the last card successfully wins the game and £1,000 in cold hard cash, and we play best of three.
But of course, you can't win a game without winning a question, and they're all based on genuine polls of 100 people:
We asked 100 unmarried men: Have you ever been fixed up with a real loser? How many of those 100 said that they had?
James, over to you my friend.

I have seen the term loser used more towards men than women. So I say it's a pretty high number. I would say 85

I would tend to think that would be at least a little bit lower than 85. I'll say lower.

Alright, the actual number of men who said they'd been fixed up with a total loser is: [Dings]8527*LOWER*
And so Bill has first choice with:
And you have the option to change the card if you want.

What's my pleasure? Let's not get into that here However I will predict the next card will be higher than that 3.
