In the spirit of Pyramid and On A Roll, I am considering playing one game, then one Gambit Board, then another game, and another Gambit Board.
Money paid to the winner only of each game, $50 x their winning score, with a house minimum of $500. Any 21 wins $100 x the score, or $2,100.
All questions will be toss-ups. All will be multiple choice with three possible answers.
To keep the game moving, I will request 20 buzzcodes from 1-100 be submitted to me ahead of time. With this being the case, if you ring in and don't know an answer, or feel your opponent doesn't know it, you will have the option to answer it yourself or challenge your opponent to answer instead.
Money will no longer be awarded for toss-up questions.
Gambit Board would have 11 numbers now. Here's a sample board:
[$1,000] [$1,500] [$2,000] [$2,500] [$3,000] [Take Two] [Power Chip + Pick Again] [$1,000 Heart] [$1,000 Club] [$1,000 Diamond] [$1,000 Spade]
As before, when a suit card is picked, $1,000 is won instantly, plus $1,000 each time any card with that suit is in your hand, as long as you do not go over 21.
After each turn at the Gambit Board, the player would be dealt a card. They can freeze once they reach 12 or more since going over 21 loses everything.
Once they freeze, the house will begin dealing cards to itself. The house must hit on 16 and below and must stop on 17 and above.
A win at the Gambit Board would win all the money in the Gambit Board jackpot plus $5,000.
Any 21 at the Gambit Board automatically wins all the money in the Gambit Board jackpot plus $10,000.
A 2 card 21, in other words a BlackJack is worth $21,000 plus all the money in the Gambit Board jackpot.
If there is a tie at the Gambit Board, the player only wins the money in the Gambit Board jackpot, and no added bonus money.
The same deck of cards will be used throughout. No longer will there be a fresh deck for each game, nor for each Gambit Board.
The player with the highest money amount total after 2 complete games becomes champ and plays for a new car.
Car Bonus similar to before:
Day 1 - One car symbol hidden behind one of the 6 letters in G A M B I T If it is won, the player can leave or come back to try to win the car plus bonus money.
Day 2 - Two car symbols hidden, if either one is found, the car is won plus $50,000. They can give it back and play again...
Day 3 - Three car symbols hidden, if any are found, the car is won plus $125,000. Again a player can take it and leave or come back...
Day 4 - Four car symbols hidden, if any are found, the car is won plus $250,000. Same option, leave or risk it...
Day 5 - Five car symbols hidden, if one is picked the car is won plus at least $250,000 again. One of the car symbols will have $1,000,000 attached to it.
No more mid-game mini-bonus games. No more merchandise prizes to be awarded either, since I am hoping to do more "Price is Right" episodes, and I'd like to reserve the prizes for that game only.
Since Pay Cards will end after Kevin finishes his bonus game, I would like to invite both Kevin and Brian Law to be the first two contestants on this incarnation of Gambit P.M. since Kevin became Pay Cards champion and since Bryan expressed an interest in playing in the next game.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
Gambit P.M. will start sometime before May 21st.
Best,
Bill
