After seeing all the original games on Channel 1, we at Bill's Game Shack are getting our toes wet with a new game show: Punch Card! Think of this as Punch-a-Bunch getting its own show.
The theme song is another element that we borrowed from The Price is Right. Enough of that, let's go on to the gameplay:
Two players will compete against each other, with four rounds to determine who will move on to the Bonus Round.
ROUND 1: 3x3
Players select three holes each. The distribution is as follows: 10/20/30/40/50/60/70/80/90
ROUND 2: 4x4
Players select four holes each. The distribution is as follows: 25/50/75/100/125/150/175/200/225/250/275/300/325/350/375/400
ROUND 3: 5x5
Players select five holes each. The distribution is as follows: 50/100/150/200/250/300/350/400/450/500/550/600/650/700/750/800/850/900/950/1000/1050/1100/1150/1200/1250
ROUND 4: 6x6
Players select six holes each. The distribution is as follows: 100/200/300/400/500/600/700/800/900/1000/1100/1200/1300/1400/1500/1600/1700/1800/1900/2000/2100/2200/2300/2400/2500/2600/2700/2800/2900/3000/3100/3200/3300/3400/3500/3600
After these four rounds, the player who has more money then plays the Bonus Round. This is played on a 7x7 board, and there are seven prizes that can be won (including a trip and a car), in addition to the money, plus a Double Cash slip that will pay out twice the money won. However, there will also be 1/2 Cash (which cuts your money in half) and Lose It All slips (which will bankrupt you; if you find two of them, the game is over) that will add a danger element to the game, and the player will have the option to quit and take his winnings or risk it all with the next punch. The Bonus Round distribution is as follows:
CAR-1
TRIP-1
PRIZE 1-1
PRIZE 2-1
PRIZE 3-1
PRIZE 4-1
PRIZE 5-1
DOUBLE CASH-1
1/2 CASH-2
LOSE IT ALL-2
$100,000-1
$75,000-1
$50,000-2
$25,000-2
$10,000-2
$7,500-3
$5,000-3
$2,500-4
$1,000-4
$750-5
$500-5
$250-5
The prize placements will be determined via random.org. There are some other details to be worked out, such as who George Gray will announce, I will executive produce, and whether Erin or I will host. I will need a capable artist or two to design the logo and set, but that's the new game I just came up with, and I'm going to do a test soon.
