With the recent news of the remakes of Pyramid and Match Game announced, I figure it's high time to try something new in this forum for my fellow game show fans. Basically, I will introduce a show, and suggest some of my own improvements added, but I will also ask you to provide some ideas of your own to implement. And the first show on the block, is.....FUN HOUSE! Yep, the show from both the US and UK is back in our minds and I'm going to introduce a few new elements for this:
Overall Objective: Create a new remake that not only incorporates elements from the original American version, but also mix in some elements from it's UK show as well.
Ideas:
-Score is now based in cash rather than points
-Before Stunt Round (now referred to as The Midway) begins, a wheel is brought out designed in similar fashion to the Name that Tune spinning wheel (the outer rings has numbers 1-3; the Inner Ring features the stunts of the day) and both rings are spun to determine the order of stunts played for that day.
-Grand Prix Race features 25 and 50 dollar tokens (white and blue respectively) along with the addition of the Token Bank, which also contains the rare 100 dollar Golden Token
-Each week the Fun House design will have different rooms, meaning it won't be the same Fun House twice (for the most part). Rooms from the American, British, along with some brand new rooms will be incorporated in the show
-A new special tag introduced for Social Media interaction, the Blue Tag, a cash tag worth 200 dollars, will also net a Twitter/FB user a VISA cash card of equal or half value of the cash tag.
-During the Midway, one of the stunts will be a designated Key Game a la UK Fun House, where a losing team can earn some extra cash (usually, per part of completion of their stunts; each item they have collected or used will be worth 10 dollars each)
Anyways, I'm open to hear what you guys would say to improve this.
