Well they both pay the same at $100 a point.
So at this point I will save the chance for later and go with the three of a kind.

Well I have already used my three of a kind in the last round. But I have a good feeling that the next roll will be a full house or a Yahtzee.
Thus I will hold on to the three's and re-roll the one and the five.

OK, he's holding onto the threes. Now, you still have your chance, so you're basically safe this roll. Leyla, roll those dice! (she does) (audience cheers) And you're right, it is a Full House! (audience cheers some more) Do you want to take that Full House or go for another question? Oh my swirls is right, you're up to $6,300. Get a Yahtzee and you'll take the lead. Next question. Which media is read from the outside in, compact discs or vinyl records?(buzzcode and answer, please)

(buzzcode: 63) *Billy buzzes in (39)*Billy? Billy: I think I want to toss a coin, but... I'll go with my guts and say Vinyl Records. And you're right. (audience cheers) Billy, you need to get a small straight, a 3 of a kind, or a 4 of a kind in any order in order to clear the board and win the trip. Leyla, roll those dice! (she does) (audience cheers) Well, you've got a trio of threes and a pair of twos. Your Full House is already taken, but I think I know what you're going to hold.

Yes, going for the sure thing, I'll hold the twos.

Looking for more twos. (Leyla collects the dice and gets back in position) Let's see if we can't get another Yahtzee. Leyla, roll those dice! (she does) (audience cheers) You've got another 2! Now, you can use that for three or four of a kind and pick up $1,800 for that, or I can ask another question. If you're right, you could get a roll that could get you a Yahtzee. What will you do?

Let's try the question again.

OK. Here's the question.
What magical, Vegas "couple" would be known as Fischbacher and Horn if they went by their last names?

Siegfield and Roy!

That would be Siegfried and Roy.

That's right. (audience cheers) Billy, it's not the spelling as much as it's the pronunciation. Siegfield and Roy is that law firm up the street. (scattered laughter)
Andrew, you've got control here. Four twos and a one. What do you want to do?

|
|
Post by gameshowgeek50 on Apr 19, 2016 6:14:19 GMT -5
Well I still have a four of a kind and chance still at my disposal. I so I've got nothing to lose at this point, so let's re-roll the one. Come on Yahtzee!
|
|
|
Post by palmer7 on Apr 19, 2016 8:39:47 GMT -5
(audience cheers) I think the audience likes your decision, there. You do have nothing to lose. (Leyla collects the one, puts it in the cup, and gets in position) OK, Leyla, we need a two! Roll that die! (she does) A three! (audience groans) But, as you said, you still have the four-of-a-kind, and I presume you want to use that for $2,200.

Let's do that.

Sounds OK to me. (ding)(audience cheers) [ROLLS LEFT:] [ ][ ][3][2][1]

[3 of a Kind] [ ] [4 of a Kind] [ ] [ ] [ ] [Small Straight] [Small Straight] [ ] [Large Straight] [ ] [Yahtzee] [ ] [Chance]
Andrew cuts into Billy's lead. Only $5,100 to go for a tie. Next question. The troposphere, stratosphere and mesosphere all make part of the Earth's what?(buzzcode and answer, please)

OK, he's trying to build a small straight. (Leyla gets in position) Looking for at least a 4. Leyla, roll those dice! (she does) A pair of ballerinas. Two twos. Well, you have three of a kind now. You could take $2,000 for that or try for another question.

I'll try the question again.

Going for the question again. OK, here we go.
Which Californian national park shares its name with a 1987 U2 album?

Joshua Tree. Is it?

|
Post by palmer7 on Apr 21, 2016 8:30:50 GMT -5
It is! (audience cheers)
So, you have control. You have three twos, a one, and a three. You could take $2,000 for the three of a kind, or you could try for four of a kind or another Yahtzee. And if you should get another Yahtzee, you'll win $10,000 and you could use it for a small straight, giving you another $6,000, if you so chose. What do you want to do?

I'll hold the twos and reroll the rest.

(audience cheers, Leyla collects the dice, etc.) OK. You could make $16,000 off this very roll. Leyla, we need twos! Audience: TWO! TWO! TWO! TWO! TWO! TWO! TWO! TWO!Roll the dice! (she does) Ugh! (audience groans slightly) Well, you got another two. Do you want a 3 or a four of a kind? (audience shouts suggestions)
