Now let's talk will Bill McDee from Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, a data entry specialist! What exactly does a data entry specialist do sir?
Post by billmcdee on Apr 27, 2016 3:29:47 GMT -5
He enters data. No, to be more specific, we receive data submitted from a panelist of physicians through paper diaries and also electronic submissions. The paper diaries we enter from scratch while electronic submissions we tend to "clean". Often, a doctor will fill in something wrong on the electronic template and we have to fix those in order for them to be processed. Then every month all the data we enter goes into a report generator tool which pharmaceutical companies can buy access to, in order to track and trend prescribing tendencies for their own products as well as competitors' products. I've been at this job since March 1999, although we've had several owners and relocations. This is currently our 4th location and our 6th different owner. Now I know how Johnny Carson or Liz Taylor felt with all those marriages.
