Well, if you were to win four more games for a total of five, a brand new car would be waiting for you. For those who didn't see our last show, KEVIN took away from us a total of $12,025.
(AUDIENCE APPLAUSE)
You smoothed on by the bonus game like a boss, KEVIN. Were you nervous?

It went by a lot smoother than I thought. For a moment, I was expecting a block to show up and ruin my concentration. Glad it's over and that I made it through!

That's great, CLEMENT....What kind of sports do you like?
|
|
|
Post by CCSCO on Aug 3, 2014 8:05:26 GMT -5
In Angers, we have professional teams of football (soccer), team handball, basketball, ice hockey and table tennis. There's also a good amateur team of roller in-line hockey, so we have plenty of sport to attend. I also like to practice some sort of groundhopping, which means attending more than one event in the weekend.

And, when we come back, we'll start our game of BLOCKERS after these messages. Please watch and thank you.

Welcome back to BLOCKERS and here's how we play our game: The object of our game is to get your colored block in each of the seven rows here by answering questions in the categories that pertain to that row. What you basically do is to give me a category and a letter from the word BLOCKER and wherever they meet is the block that you are trying for. There are two types of questions: One is worth money ,anywhere from $25 to $200, and the other type is what we call a COMMAND BLOCK. Those are special because they involve two questions, the first being worth $50 and the other depends on whatever the command block is. There are three types of COMMAND BLOCKS up there on our board: GAIN, which, if you get the second question right, will get your an extra block in another row, as well as $50 more. STEAL, which if you get the second question right, will allow you to steal an opponent's block and replace with one of your own, as well as $50 more. and CHANCE, which if you get the second question right, will add whatever the CHANCE JACKPOT is to your score. Now, the CHANCE is special because you have a choice on whether to go for it or not. The reason is that, if you go for the second question and get it wrong, you'll lose the block from the first question. Now, if the block you pick is a money amount, then the question is a toss-up. However, if you pick a COMMAND block, then the question is only for you, unless you give me a wrong answer. Then, it becomes a toss-up to the other remaining two. The person who gets all their colored blocks in each of the seven rows wins the game and gets to keep the money they've accumulated. Also, they will go on to play SUPERBLOCKERS for a chance at $10,000 in cash. (AUDIENCE APPLAUSE) Is there any questions?

Let's go Letter C: Silly Says and Songings. I mean Silly Songs and Sayings.

|
|
Post by johnnyb on Aug 4, 2014 5:23:24 GMT -5
And behind SILLY SONGS AND SAYINGS and the letter C is........GAIN. So, right off the bat ,KEVIN, a chance at two blocks. You know how this works, so here's your first question: SILLY SONGS AND SAYINGS: What silly song has the lyrics: "Do they wobble to and fro? Can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow?"?

That is CORRECT, KEVIN.
Now, get this second question right and it's a free block anywhere on the board.
SILLY SONGS AND SAYINGS:
Originally released in 1943 as a novelty swing song, what silly song has the lyrics: "Liddle lamzy divey A kiddley divey too, wooden shoe?"?
