I assume Kourtney answers first, right? Yes, he does.

Considering that he not only sings and composed many songs for him self and others but also mastered several different instruments definitely put him in a much higher league than most. As far as the greatest musician, I am not sure about that. I am going to say 50.

So it's 50 from pathfinder20.
ding!
koopakid17, is the actual number higher or lower?

He's among there but I also don't think he's the greatest. I think people will see it the same way so lower.

And koopakid17 says that it's lower.
ding!
Well, the number of people who say Prince is the greatest musician of his generation is...
ding-ding-ding!
...51, so it's not lower, and pathfinder20 finally gets first crack at the cards. Amber, show him the first card, please.
(Q ♣)
A Queen! Now you can play that card as it is, or change it. What's your decision?

Post by pathfinder20 on Apr 26, 2016 13:58:44 GMT -5
Let's keep it and go lower!

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 26, 2016 15:06:56 GMT -5
I don't blame you for going lower. As long as it's not an Ace, King or another Queen, you'll be fine. What is it, Amber?
(5 ⋄)
ding!
It's a 5, and you made the right move. Now would you like to continue or freeze?
|
|
|
Post by pathfinder20 on Apr 26, 2016 16:12:08 GMT -5
Let's go on. Higher!
|
|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 26, 2016 16:29:05 GMT -5
Higher than a 5?
(A ♣)
ding!
Right again! You're just two cards away from a tiebreaker, so what are you going to do?
|
|
|
Post by pathfinder20 on Apr 26, 2016 17:04:16 GMT -5
Lower please!

|

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 26, 2016 17:14:22 GMT -5
If it's not another Ace, you get to keep playing! Is it lower, Amber?
(J ♣)
ding!
Yes, it is, and you're just one card away from forcing a tiebreaker! Do you want to continue or freeze?

Post by pathfinder20 on Apr 26, 2016 17:54:39 GMT -5
Let's go for broke. Lower!

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 26, 2016 18:05:57 GMT -5
This is for the tiebreaker. If it's lower than a Jack, you take the second round, and we play a tiebreaker round. Is it lower, Amber?
(2 ♥)
ding-ding-ding!
(1978 CS Theme)
Yes it is, and you take the second round in a sweep and force a tiebreaker! (1978 CS Theme) When we return, we'll play a new round to see who gets to play the Money Cards at the end of the show. We'll be back after this.

Welcome back to Card Sharks, where the tiebreaker round is about to begin! So far, koopakid17 and pathfinder20 have $1,000 and one win each, and whoever wins this round will go on to play the Money Cards. koopakid17, you get to start this round off with the first question. We asked 100 game show fans:
"Next season will mark ten years since Drew Carey took over as host of The Price is Right. In your opinion, is he better, worse or the same as he was in 2007?"
How many of those people said that he has gotten better?

Post by koopakid17 on Apr 26, 2016 19:12:17 GMT -5
Drew has his fans and his haters. Nothing against him but I don't really watch Price anymore because of what Mike and company have been doing to the show. I think it's going to be even among those answers. I'll say 35 of them think Drew has gotten better.

|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 26, 2016 19:28:06 GMT -5
So koopakid17 says 35.
ding!
pathfinder20, is the actual number higher or lower than 35?

|
Post by pathfinder20 on Apr 26, 2016 19:48:43 GMT -5
To be honest I haven't watch a lot of it TPIR in a while either. I feel that fans are a bit stricter than regular Joe or Jane Plinkos. I feel at times he can have his golden moment but other times a bit frustrating to watch. I am going to say a tad lower.

And pathfinder20 says that it's lower.
ding!
Well, the actual retail price...oh sorry, wrong show. (audience laughter) I was just getting caught up in the moment, that's all. Anyway, the actual number of people who said that Drew is better now than he was in 2007 is...
ding-ding-ding!
...32, so it is lower, and pathfinder20 gets to play the cards first. Let's see what he starts out with, Amber.
(A ♠)
Wow, another Ace! I think you want to play that, but you can change it as well, not that I'd expect it.

Let's play: lower!

|
|
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 27, 2016 16:18:09 GMT -5
I knew you would say that! Of course, if it's another Ace, then you do not get to keep playing, and koopakid17 will have a chance to win. Lower than an Ace?
(10 ♥)
ding!
Yes, it is! Now would you like to keep playing or freeze?

Let's go with lower.

Lower than a 10, Amber?
(3 ♣)
ding!
Yes, and now you're two cards away from the Money Cards round. What's your decision now?

Post by pathfinder20 on Apr 28, 2016 14:25:35 GMT -5
Let's go higher!

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 28, 2016 14:41:31 GMT -5
If it's not a 2 or another 3, you can keep playing. Higher than a 3?
(5 ♥)
ding!
Yes, and now you're just one card away from being the new champion and playing the Money Cards. So are you going to keep playing or freeze?

Let's go for broke! Higher!

Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 29, 2016 12:13:27 GMT -5
So if it's higher than a 5, you will be the new champ and play the Money Cards. Now Amber, what's the last card, please?
(8 ⋄)
ding-ding-ding!
(1978 CS Win Cue)
It's an 8, and you take the match 2-1, and you will play the Money Cards in a moment. But first, we have to say goodbye to koopakid17, who had $1,000 from this game. When we add that to his $36,800 from the last time we played, that gives him a two-day total of $37,800. Thanks for playing, and hopefully we'll see you again. (1978 CS Theme) Alright, when we come back, pathfinder20 will play the Money Cards round for a shot at lots and lots of money. How much? You'll have to find out. Back after this.

We are back with our new champion pathfinder20, who's about to take on the Money Cards right now! The $2,000 that you won in the main game is guaranteed cash, and you will be back to face a new challenger on the next show. But right now, let's focus on winning more with these cards. You will start out with $500 in betting cash, and you can bet any amount on the next card. We have three rows of cards that have been cut and dealt out, plus three more cards that you can change out on the beginning of each row. If you bust on the first row, you can start over with $1,000 on the second row, but after that, if you bust again, the round is over. In the Big Bet, you must bet at least half of what you have in your bank at that point. Now let's start out with the first card, and what is it, Amber?
(5 ♥)
Ooh, a 5! Would you like to change that card, or play it now?
