After winning $36,800 on the last episode, koopakid17 is back to defend his championship. I need a new challenger to take him on, and then we can start the show.

Welcome back, koopakid17! Once we get your challenger, then we'll start the show.

And away we go again!
(1978 CS Intro)
ERIN HARRIS: Aces are high, deuces are low! Call it right and win the dough...on Card Sharks! (1978 CS Theme) And now, here's the host of Card Sharks, Bill Skinner!
Thank you once again, Erin Harris, and welcome to another episode of Card Sharks! We're here with the defending champion, koopakid17, who took us for $36,800 the last time he was here. But there's a new challenger trying to stop him, pathfinder20! Welcome to the show. And last but not least, say hello to our two dealers, Tiffany Coyne and Amber Lancaster! Now, while Tiffany deals the cards for koopakid17 and Amber does the same for pathfinder20, let me remind those of you at home that the objective is to guess a row of five cards correctly before your opponent does. Each game is a two out of three match, and a win is woth $1,000. Also, the winner will advance to the Money Cards round at the end of the show. If you're ready, koopakid17 and pathfinder20, let's proceed with the first question of the show. This goes to the defending champ, koopakid17, and here it is! We asked 100 people:
"Recently, the Golden State Warriors broke an NBA record by winning 73 games this regular season. Will they win the championship to complete their historic season?"
How many of those people said yes?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 18, 2016 21:10:49 GMT -5
I say they have a good chance as long as the refs don't favor LeBron. I think 70 of them said yes.
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 19, 2016 10:06:34 GMT -5
So koopakid17 says 70. ding!pathfinder20, is the actual number higher or lower? (And going off-topic, dealorjohnny has not played in a while, so if you want to replace him on both my Wheel of Fortune and Press Your Luck games, you're more than welcome to do so.)

On second thought, both spots have already been taken (bryan on WOF and koopakid17 on PYL), so disregard that side note. You still need to determine whether the actual number is higher or lower, though.

I am going go with the odds and say a bit lower.
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 20, 2016 14:32:46 GMT -5
And pathfinder20 says it's lower.
ding!
Well, the actual number of people who said that the Warriors will win the championship this year is...
ding-ding-ding!
...74, so it's not lower, and koopakid17 will play his cards first. Now Tiffany, what's his first card, please?
(2 ♠)
Look, it's a 2! Are you going to play it right away, or change it?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 21, 2016 13:17:30 GMT -5
Higher!
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 21, 2016 14:25:59 GMT -5
I think you're right, but if it's another 2, you lose your turn. Is it higher than a 2, Tiffany?
(Q ⋄)
ding!
Yes, it's a Queen! Now would you like to continue or freeze?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 21, 2016 16:43:56 GMT -5
Lower!
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 22, 2016 12:34:48 GMT -5
Lower than a Queen?
(10 ♥)
ding!
Right again! What's your decision now?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 22, 2016 16:50:02 GMT -5
I'll freeze!
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 23, 2016 10:40:11 GMT -5
And let's freeze at the 10. pathfinder20, here comes the next question:
"Donald Trump has proposed building a wall on the U.S.-Mexican border to keep out illegal immigrants if he becomes President. Do you believe that he will actually get it done?"
How many of those people said yes?
Post by pathfinder20 on Apr 23, 2016 14:42:55 GMT -5
I am going to be honest. The chance of that happening is going to be pretty low. Even if he does build a wall, people will find a way to get in the states. I am going to say 15.
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 24, 2016 12:10:06 GMT -5
So pathfinder20 says 15.
ding!
koopakid17, is the actual number higher or lower?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 24, 2016 12:15:34 GMT -5
I agree pretty much with Kourtney. He's going to have to find a lot of support not just with the American people but in congress as well. I think it will be a tad lower.
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 24, 2016 12:34:50 GMT -5
And koopakid17 says it's lower.
ding!
The actual number of people who said yes is...
ding-ding-ding!
...only 8, so it is lower, and koopakid17 will start from the 10. Would you like to play that 10 or change it?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 24, 2016 12:36:59 GMT -5
Change it!
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 24, 2016 12:39:17 GMT -5
Alright, change it we will. What's the new card now, Tiffany?
(4 ♣)
It's a 4! Is the next card higher or lower?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 24, 2016 15:36:20 GMT -5
Higher!
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 25, 2016 9:55:41 GMT -5
Is it higher than a 4, Tiffany?
(A ♣)
ding!
Yes, and you're now one card away from taking the first round. Continue or freeze?
Post by koopakid17 on Apr 25, 2016 12:19:37 GMT -5
LOWER!
Post by Bill Skinner on Apr 25, 2016 12:23:09 GMT -5
As long as it's not lower than an Ace, you win. Flip it, Tiffany!
(Q ♥)
ding-ding-ding!
(1978 CS Win Cue)
And with that, you take the first round, and get $1,000 for that. However, it's two out of three, so pathfinder20 will have a chance to catch up. (1978 CS Theme) We're back after this.

Welcome back to Card Sharks, where koopakid17 currently leads the match 1-0. But we're going to give pathfinder20 a chance to tie it up with the first question. We asked 100 music fans the following question:
"Recently, Prince, the singer who could also play guitar and many other instruments, died in his home in Minneapolis. Do you think that he was the best musician of his generation?" (that's so sad, R.I.P.)
Notice that I did not say singer or instrumentalist, but musician as a whole. In any case, how many of those people said yes?
