Today is opening day for the MLB regular season. The Cardinals lost to the Pirates, but I am not sure yet on the other games.

And the Royals are carrying over from the 2015 World Series, having beaten the Mets.
Last year's fall classic was the first time ever that both teams were expansion teams. From 1903-2014, at least one team in each World Series was one of the "original" 16.
