Since Mr. Roc deleted my topic, I've forgotten what the scores were. So, I'll need Evan Hatfield, Jon Darrall, and Ian Laudato to check in. We're gonna try this whole thing over (unless someone remembers what the scores were).

I know I was at around $75, and Jon had around $45 (either way, I know I had a $30 lead). Not sure about Ian, but I don't think he was any more than $10 behind Jon.
Regardless, checking in.

If nobody can specifically remember the score, then we'll have to do the whole episode over. And no fair trying to balance it in your favor.

Trying to balance it in my favor? I'm just saying what I remember, no need to attack me for it.

I think that sounds right. Anyway, I'm up for restarting and/or redoing. However you'd like to handle it, Greg.

OK, let's try this again.
Jon: $35 Ian: $45 Evan: $75
1. What's the most common slang term for a basketball shot that misses the rim, the net, and the backboard?
2. Who was the first southern president since Zachary Taylor?
3. What kind of tennis players were first allowed to compete at Wimbledon in 1968?
4. What name did Upper Peru borrow in 1825 from its first president, Simon Bolivar?
5. What late night talk show host greets his audience with the phrase: "It's a great day for America, everybody!"
(buzzcodes and answers, please)

1. What's the most common slang term for a basketball shot that misses the rim, the net, and the backboard? (buzzcode: 11) *Jon buzzes in (52)*
Jon? Jon: Airball!
You even called it like you would in a game. You get $5. Jon: $40 Ian: $45 Evan: $75
2. Who was the first southern president since Zachary Taylor? (buzzcode: 71) *Jon buzzes in (60)*Jon? Jon: Jimmy Carter
And now you're tied with Ian. Jon: $45 Ian: $45 Evan: $75
3. What kind of tennis players were first allowed to compete at Wimbledon in 1968? (buzzcode: 44) *Ian buzzes in (36)*Ian? Ian: Professional?
That's exactly right, and you get another $5. Jon: $45 Ian: $50 Evan: $75
4. What name did Upper Peru borrow in 1825 from its first president, Simon Bolivar? (buzzcode: 37) *Evan buzzes in (50)*Evan? Evan: BoliviaAnd the champ insulates his lead with that right answer. Jon: $45 Ian: $50 Evan: $80
5. What late night talk show host greets his audience with the phrase: "It's a great day for America, everybody!" (buzzcode: 5) *Evan buzzes in (42)*Evan again. Evan: Craig FergusonYes, and I've met him. A nice guy. You're up to $85.... Jon: $45 Ian: $50 Evan: $85
[CASH CARD]And that gives you a $35 lead over Ian, more than enough to play CashCard. We have four suits. Behind one of them is the aforementioned CashCard, which tonight is worth $20,000. Another hides Random Money, which could add anything from $1 to $50 to your score. One has a $15 refund, and one of them hides this prize. Stacey? (Mitchell and Shannon do some "high-tech investing" using their tablets)Stacey: Evan, I think you're the type of person who likes making investments, and this prize is certainly an investment. CNBC, the leader in business news for over 25 years, and Charles Schwab will finance and personally manage your stock portfolio, choosing the right funds and making the right decisions on your behalf. They pick the stocks, the bonds, and the mutual funds that are most likely to succeed. You'll have the power of Dow Jones and Charles Schwab behind you, making all the important calculations. From CNBC and Charles Schwab. It's a prize worth $8,500.
$8,500
(cheers and applause) Greg: A very nice investment, indeed. A stock portfolio managed by Charles Schwab and CNBC, what could possibly go wrong?

It could be very nice. Depends on whether or not you want to spend. $15 is the asking price. I've got the cards, you've got the cash. Let's make lots of money. Whaddya say? (audience shouts suggestions)

(audience cheers) Way to play, Evan! Let's take that $15 off your score. Jon: $45 Ian: $50 Evan: $70
And you still have a $20 lead, which nobody can deny. What's your pleasure? Evan: Hearts(I select Hearts) *[HEARTS]* [SPADES] [DIAMONDS] [CLUBS] Good luck to you, mate. (drum rolls) For $20,000..... what's behind Hearts? (I hit the button) (blip)*[CASHCARD]* [SPADES] [DIAMONDS] [CLUBS] CASHCARD GET! $20,000(dings; alarm sounds; audience cheers; win music plays)*[CASHCARD]* [PRIZE] [$15] [RANDOM] (Stacey rushes over to Evan's seat and hands him the check; followed by a warm embrace, hugs, kisses, etc.) Congratulations, Evan. There's a lot of opportunities and you knew when to take one. What's going through your head?

At this point, I don't care if I lose; that's one hell of an investment I just made there.

Yes indeed. That's yours, congratulations. We've got to get some of this money back, so why don't you watch this?
("$20,000" continues to flash on the screen as the main theme plays) (cheers and applause) (fade to black)
----------------------
----------------------------
(fade in on Evan) (cheers and applause)
Greg: Well, Evan just made, in his words, "one hell of an investment" as he won $20,000 cash in CashCard. That will go back to $10,000 tomorrow night. In the meantime, NBC just had a hell of a time getting some of the money back. Evan's at $70 right now....
Jon: $45
Ian: $50
Evan: $70
And Ian is at $50 while Jon is close behind at $45. Back with this for all three of you.
1. How many of the 10 collies who played Lassie on TV and in movies were actually female? 2. What condiment is made by the McIlhenny Company of Avery Island, Louisiana? 3. What holy book begins: "I, Nephi, having been born of goodly parents..."?

1. How many of the 10 collies who played Lassie on TV and in movies were actually female? (buzzcode: 84) *Jon buzzes in (49)*Jon? Jon: None. They were all male.Interestingly enough, you are right! They were all male. However, here's an interesting fact. Female collies are usually 10-15 pounds lighter than their male counterparts, therefore a male dog playing Lassie would look more impressive. Female collies were not ignored because they are any less intelligent; in fact, some of Lassie's stunt doubles have been females. Fascinating. You get another $5. Jon: $50 Ian: $50 Evan: $70
2. What condiment is made by the McIlhenny Company of Avery Island, Louisiana? (buzzcode: 36) *Jon buzzes in (50)*And it's Jon again. Jon: Tabasco SauceRight again. You now own second place. Jon: $55 Ian: $50 Evan: $70
3. What holy book begins: "I, Nephi, having been born of goodly parents..."? (buzzcode: 93) *Ian buzzes in (63)*Ian this time. Ian: Book of MormonRight you are. Once again, a tie for second. Jon: $55 Ian: $55 Evan: $70
[FAME GAME]And this has been a close match so far, as Ian and Jon are both $15 behind the champ. However, we're adding the Wild Card and a $25 Money Card to the $15 that's still up there. Looking for a famous event this time. I was a famous battle held in the eastern Montana Territory held during two days in late June of 1876. The two forces were the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army, and the combined forces of three Indian tribes. The total U.S. casualty count, including scouts, was 268 dead and 55 injured. The climax of this battle was held on Last Stand Hill where the soldiers put up their most dogged defense. According to some accounts, far more of their casualties occurred in the attack on Last Stand Hill than anywhere else. (please either send me a buzzcode and answer or "pass", if someone sends me a buzzcode, I will give them the opportunity to answer)

(buzzcode: 64) *Jon buzzes in (52)*Jon? Jon: Battle of Little Big HornOtherwise known as Custer's Last Stand, you are RIGHT! (cheers and applause) Well solved, Jon! All right, you're tied with Ian. There's a chance for you to make a lot of money up on the board and possibly tie or break away. What number do you want?

Stacey: The $15 was behind #5, and the $25 was behind #4.(fanfare) Greg: All right. Evan is still in the lead by $15. We finish the game with the Century Round. 10 questions at $10 a piece, it is still anyone's game. May I have 10 questions on the clock, please? (ding)And as you can see, it is Jon and Ian tied at $55, Evan at $70. Good luck as we begin the Century Round...... now! 1. What singer recently released an album named after his wife, Paula? 2. What's the only country besides the U.S. that Elvis Presley performed a concert in? 3. What Shakespeare play inspired music by Berlioz, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky? 4. What kind of meat do some hunters call "Bambi burger"? 5. What do crocodiles swallow to enable them to dive deeper? 6. What church's headquarters is known as the Apostolic See? 7. Who invented the railroad sleeping car in 1859? 8. What president commanded "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"? 9. What 10-pound creature did Ben Franklin suggest be the national bird? 10. How many days are there in a fortnight?(buzzcodes and answers, please)

(time's up)But it doesn't matter because Evan wins the game! (win fanfare, followed by BGM) (cheers and applause) Jon, I know you had a streak going there, but I'm afraid you had that momentum at the wrong time. So sorry about that. Let's go over the questions that were answered incorrectly. What 10-pound creature did Ben Franklin suggest be the national bird? That would be the turkey. Canada was the only country besides the U.S. that Elvis Presley performed a concert in, and crocodiles swallow stones to enable them to dive deeper. Jon, what can I tell you? That was a valiant effort. Did you buy anything in the Gift Shops or win any other prizes besides that 5-piece place setting?
