This won't be a recurring feature here at NGC (however, I've been know to post a lot of #TBT tweets Thursdays @dougmorrisgames on Twitter). With that said, the year was 1997. Wesley Eure was in the midst of a book tour promoting "The Red Wings of Christmas", a children's book he wrote. Illustrations were by Ron Paolillo, the late actor best known for playing one of the sweathogs on "Welcome Back, Kotter". Wes was kind enough to take this picture with me at WDAM television, where I work during the week, before his on-air guest appearance on our noon newscast.

Awesome stuff Doug. I remember Wesley with great fondness on two NBC programs. One was where he portrayed Mike Horton, one of the very key characters on the daytime drama "Days of our Lives". My mom, aunt and one grandmother used to watch it and I recall him being on there.
The one I really remember him from however was the cult classic "Land of the Lost", back when Saturday morning TV was much more kid friendly and much more fun and filled with great stories and adventures with "live action", coupled with the awesome cartoons ran back then. I most assuredly feel a very deep sense of sadness and mourning that Saturday mornings are no longer that way, since there are 30 gazillion channels. My son has been bowling on Saturday mornings for the past 6 or 7 years now anyway. He can't miss what he never had, but being the parent that I am, I miss it for him.
Super picture indeed Doug! Thanks for sharing.

I also remembered him from LotL. When FK debuted, I racked my brain for weeks wondering where I've seen Wes before. Then it dawned on me -- LotL.
