Ian Laudato has a current total of $5,000. But you won't be able to see how he did it because Mr. Roc deleted the topic on BJ's!
I need Ian to check in and a challenger for him. Who wants to play?

-------------------- (fade in, picture of Ian Laudato from last episode) Gary Kroeger: (VO) This is our returning champion Ian Laudato, from Dallas, Texas. Yesterday on our first show, he won $5,000 in cash. Let's see how long he can stay.... On a Roll!
[MAIN THEME](as we zoom through the dot in "Roll", we get a wide shot of the audience as we move to the stage) Gary: (VO) And now, from Studio 33 at CBS, here's the star of the show..... GREG PALMER!(Greg walks out to cheers and applause)
Greg: Thank you, Gary Kroeger! And welcome to On a Roll! Good morning, everyone. Hope you've had a good morning so far. You've just finished watching the news, so sit back, relax, and enjoy. I know I enjoy introducing our two lovely ladies, Natalie and Nicole Garza! (they walk out to cheers and applause) Well, hello, ladies. It's nice to see you, to see you, nice! Nicole: Oh, you can't use that line on us. Greg: And why not? Natalie: We're not British.Greg: You're right. Neither am I. Now ladies, if you'll get in position, we'll meet the two contestants who will be On a Roll today! (main theme plays as Bill and Ian come out) [ ]
[IAN] [BILL]
And we have Ian Laudato on the left and Bill McDee on the right. First, let's say hello to the challenger. Hiya, Bill. Would you tell us something about yourself?

Hello Greg! Very nice to be here. I'm Bill McDee, age 47, from Pennsylvania, originally New Jersey. I've been married for over 23 years, have a son turning 15 soon. I work as a pharmaceutical research firm data entry operator, and have been there for over 15 years, so I have staying power, and I hope I'll have staying power here too! I enjoy game shows, bowling, American History, and I thank you for having me!

Well, that was quite clear and concise. We're glad to have you here on the show as well. Good luck to you today. And over here is our champion, Ian Laudato. You've done very well, my man. $5,000 in cash. (audience cheers) So, would you please tell us something about yourself?

Well I'm a poker player from Dallas, and I hope I don't get unlucky in the bonus round.

Yes, you did have a rough finish yesterday, but hopefully it'll get better. Good luck to you today.
Now, normally, we would have to play The Name Game to determine who goes first. However, the pilot was taped weeks in advance, so all the executive producers decided to forgo the Name Game and instead answer trivia questions. (pause) Yes, we are becoming more like that other show. That's why Merrill Heatter is an executive producer. All right now, hands on buzzers, this will decide who gets control.
What was Hoover Dam called until 1948?
(I need a buzzcode from 1-100 sent to me via PM, please)

No need to apologize, you're right! (Right)
(cheers and applause) [4]
[IAN] [BILL]
All right. Bill, come into the box, please. Now this is the real meat of the game. Take a look at the board, where Nicole is standing.

As you can see, we have various monitors. Each monitor is numbered. What you're going to do is roll the dice and either choose the two individual numbers you rolled or the sum. We'll reveal the letters behind those numbers or that number, and then we'll let you guess at the clue. A few things I should point out, though. There are certain numbers with question marks. Those cannot be revealed via dice roll. Also, please, for the love of humanity, don't roll doubles. If you do, your opponent gets control of the dice and a free letter. Sound good?

All right then. Here are the dice, you are On a Roll. (audience cheers as Bill rolls them) Uh oh.... (Doubles)(audience groans) Now what'd I tell you, Bill? You're not supposed to roll doubles. Oh well, I'm sorry. Ian, you get a chance at this now.

(some members of the audience cheer) I dunno, is it Family Feud? (wrong)No it is not. But that's OK, because you have two more rolls to go. So have at it! (he does) A two and a six, or an eight.
