Finally I decide to host a show on this humble forum, and a format I've been mulling over for an age. It got a Summer Saturday run in 1990 and wasn't too great, but the 1989 pilot wasn't bad, so the rules from that will be used, with the bonus money upped slightly. Thus, I need 3 contestants for this (hopefully successful) pilot. Who's interested?

It's Monopoly, the most famous board game in the world, and now television's brightest new game show. With our three smart contestants, and now your host, Sam Hodkin!
Thank you Burton Richardson, good morning and welcome to Monopoly, the property-positive board game turned TV gameshow once again. We'll be getting into properties and profit in a few moments, but first let's get to know our contestants, kicking off with Matt Ringgenberg, tell us a little about yourself.

Well hopefully you won't be leaving with peanuts today. Here's how we'll be playing Monopoly in the first round. I'll be posing crossword-like clues to answers beginning with a particular letter. The first of you to give me 2 correct answers will gain a random Monopoly and the cash value of said Monopoly. And to ensure you all leave with some cash, each correct answer in this round is worth $100.
For this first Monopoly all answers will begin with the letter D. Good luck to all three of you, off we go:

Right Matt, and nets you $100, another right answer and you'll claim the first monopoly, fingers back on buzzers:

DEMIGOD
Right! And so you and Matt both require one more right answer for the monopoly, Raymond requires two, next clue:
A French city with your meat?

Right! That's another $100 and your second correct answer, and for that we give you this Monopoly:
PACIFIC AVENUE N. CAROLINA AVENUE PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE
And we add the value of the Monopoly to your total: Matt: $100 Greg: $1120 Raymond: $0
And we continue onward, answers for the next Monopoly will begin with the letter P
Progressing to Lourdes.
